"ALVIN!" Miss Smith shouted once again as she looked over at the only disrupted student she had. "This is the fifth time I've stopped my teaching for you, you are driving me crazy!"

"Miss Smith please," Alvin said with a smile knowing that his plan was about to work, "I'm trying to learn here!"

That was the last straw, Miss Smith looked like she was about to burst. "ALVIN! Go to the principal's office now!" She shouted at the top of her lungs, the class stutter in fear at the sound of her voice.

"Oh thank you, Miss Smith!" Alvin said as he tipped his hat and ran out the door into the hallway. Alvin ran happily down to the office because he knew it's where he'd see Brittany, it had been the sixth time this week he was sent to the office but to him, it was worth it. Once Alvin got there he saw Brittany typing on her computer, as usual, she was the principal's assistant and Alvin was always getting into trouble just to see her.

"What are you doing here again?" Brittany asked not looking up from her computer.

"Miss Smith has it out for me," Alvin said with a grin as he took a seat.

"Ya sure," Brittany said as she raised one eyebrow, "and not for the reason that you're irritating."

"Ouch Brit, that hurts," Alvin said holding onto his chest, "so how 'bout we ditch school together?" He asked from the waiting chair.

"Ah-ha no," Brittany said faking laughing.

"Oh come on Brit," Alvin said jumping up from his chair, "let's have some fun, just you and me-"

"Hey Brit," a voice called out from the office doors. It was the Chipmunk who Alvin hated most of all, Slade. Slade was an offensive Munk (who in Alvin's defences was a try hard to copy his style). He wore all back and had slits on both his eyebrows, he also had one red eye.

He walked down towards Brittany while giving Alvin a face of disgust, Slade then gave Brittany a peck on the cheek. At that moment Alvin wanted to pounce on him. "Are we still on for tonight?" Slade asked as he handed in the attendance.

"Oh ya," Brittany said with soft rosy cheeks. They talked as if Alvin wants in the same room with them, "of course! Meet me at my house!"

After a little more fitting with Brittany, Slade left leaving Alvin furious. "Oh come on Brit- seriously?!" Alvin said crossing his arms.

"And what's your problem?" Brittany asked looking over Alvin, "jealous much."

"Of him?! Are you kidding?!" Alvin said completely jealous. "Brit he's a player."

"And your not?" Brittany shot back, "besides its none of your business what I do in my spare time- I'm not your girlfriend."

Just then the principal opened the door to her office, "Alvin Seville your next."

•••

For the rest of the day, Alvin was out of it. He didn't want Brittany to be with that low life. It made him so angry that he felt like a firecracker ready to explode. The walk home was silent too, Simon and Theodore knew what went down between Brittany and him. Jeanette and Eleanor had already filled them in.

"Hey, Alvin- you wanna play some video games when we get home?" Theo asked shyly.

"I dunno," Alvin said quietly as he continued to lead the group.

Soon they were home when Dave met Alvin at the door. "Alvin! Mind telling me the reason why I got another call from the principal?" Dave asked furiously.

"Because I'm no good?" Alvin said slightly numbly. Dave shockingly looked down at him as he headed to his room.

Simon and Theodore filled in Dave on what happened, Dave felt awful and thought it best for Alvin to have his space.

When Alvin got to his room he could help but look over at the Chipettes house. There he saw Brittany walking up the steps to the treehouse while explaining something to her sisters.

'She's probably talking about her date with Slade,' Alvin thought to himself hurt. It bothered him that Brittany never took him seriously like he didn't matter to her.

'But Slade?!' Alvin thought to himself as he threw his bag, he then grabbed his skateboard from under his bed and ran to the window. Alvin then opened the window and climbed down from the nearby tree. He then zoomed down the street to the skate park.

Once he got there he worked out his aggression, with every flip and trick he felt the anger within him. The occasionally fell which irritated him even more. 'I mean is she doing this on purpose? Is she getting back at me?!' Just the thought of Slade being with Brittany made Alvin hateful.

'What if he kisses her?!' Alvin thought to him as he tried a flip. Since his mind was occupied his board fell from under him and he ended up scraping his knee.

'Great!' Alvin thought to himself as he tried to stand up, he was in pain as he tried his best to stand up. Alvin skated home on his bad leg he had been out long enough and it wasn't as helpful as he thought it would be.

On the way home, he heard a noise- it sounded like someone crying.

Alvin skated closer to the sound which evidently was coming from the Chipette's house. There at the staircases that lead up to the front doors was Brittany crying in her arms. Alvin didn't even think about it he just rested his skateboard on the grass and climbed up to staircase to sit next to Brit.

"Alvin?!" Brittany said surprised, "here to laugh?" She said as she quickly changed her tone of voice.

"Not at all," Alvin said as he looked up at the rosy sky turning darker With each minute. "I take it he didn't show up," Alvin said honestly.

"He's done this before," Brit said in between sniffles, then came something unexpected to Alvin, "I should have listened to you, Alvin."

Alvin was silent for a moment until he looked at her, "you look pretty," he whispered. She wore a light pink dress with a white ribbon tied around her waist and a matching purse.

"Thank you," Brittany said unexpectedly as she cleaned her face, "and your- your bleeding!" She said as she saw his injured knee.

"Oh, yea that," Alvin said laughing it off, "that's nothing."

Just then Brit rummaged through her bag and pulled out a bandaid. "Here," she said as she knelt and began to unwrap the bandaid.

"Eh," Alvin said as his face grew as red as his sweater, "thanks."

Brittany blushed as she helped Alvin. Alvin then took her hand surprising, "how about I take you out on a date- as I've always wanted?" He confessed, "as your boyfriend?"

Brittany beamed as she looked up at the confidant Alvin, "I'd love that."
