"Alvin, I need to talk to you right now," Brittany said as she looked around the busy cafeteria, Alvin was with all his friends eating lunch and goofing around when she asked."Oh Alvin's got himself a girlfriend," the boys mocked.
"I do not!" Alvin shot back defensively.
"Alvin, please," Brittany said desperately.
Alvin hopped off the table and walked over to an agitated Brittany, "alright Brit, what is it this time-" just then Brittany pulled Alvin out of the cafeteria and into the empty halls. "Brittany, what's wrong?" He asked nervously, "Is everything okay?"
"No everything is not okay," Brittany said as she looked around to make sure the halls were empty. "I have a slight problem... Ash asked me out to a Halloween dance at his school!"
"Uh-huh," Alvin said annoyed. Brittany had a cousin name Dalla who Alvin couldn't stand! She was nosey, bossy and she hated Alvin and his brothers but worst of all is that Dalla was always trying to find Brittany a boyfriend. Dalla had a friend named Ash who was the most dimwitted chipmunk you could ever find if Alvin hated anyone more than Dalla it was Ash. "So what's the problem?" Alvin asked crossing his arms unimpressed.
"The problem is-" Britany looked around once again to see if the hallways were still empty, "the dance is tomorrow but I dunno how to dance."
Alvin gave out a little chuckle, "are you serious?" he asked in disbelief.
"It's not funny Alvin," Brittany said as she stomped her foot on the ground.
"Wait but I've seen you dance before-"
"It's all choreographed, nobody knows I can't dance- not even Jean and Ellie!" Brittany said dramatically
"Well- sorry I can't help you," Alvin said as he began to walk away.
"WHAT?!" Brittany said as she grabbed his arm and flung him right back. "Alvin you have to help me- please!" she begged.
Alvin saw how much this meant to Brittany, although he never wanted to admit it he sorta had a little crush on her. He thought she was beautiful and talented, he thought she was ambitious and sharp. He liked how they had a love-hate relationship going on and how comfortable they were with each other. As much as Alvin hated Ash he didn't want to ruin his friendship with Brittany. "Okay come by the house this afternoon and I'll teach you."
"Oh, Alvin thank you so much your such a lifesaver!" Brittany squealed.
"Ya... no problem," Alvin said quietly.
After school, Brittany snuck into the Seville house through the boy's window. "Couldn't you have just oh I don't know- use the DOOR?!" Alvin said as he set down his video game.
"And risk someone seeing me?! No thank you," Brittany said as she fixed her skirt. "Now are you going to help me or not?"
"If it will get you to stop complaining then yes!" Alvin said as he hopped off his bed.
"Haha very funny Alvin," Brittany said as she crossed her arms, "just find a song so we can get this over with."
Alvin pulled out his phone, the song that Alvin played was upbeat and energetic he rested his phone on his desk as he walked up to Brittany. "Alright the key is to find the beat of the song and to move to it," he explained as he started to dance.
Brittany tried to dance but it came out awkward Alvin couldn't help himself but laugh. "ALVIN!" Brittany automatically stopped.
"Okay okay I'm sorry," he said as he composed himself, "watch me," Alvin said as he began to dance. He followed the same beat and rhythm of the music but kept it simple for Brittany to follow.
