The cookout

We headed to the cookout and picked up rays friends they are really cool and funny we were halfway to the cookout:

Ray:so is there anything else there besides food

Roc:well I heard it Hawaii themed

Ray:and now you tell me

Prod:(starts laughing)what about the people with a lot of hair care products in their hair catch on fire

We start laughing and reach the house of the cookout some dude in the front tells us that the party's in the back we reach the back and it's beautiful there's camp fires, people cooking, people laughing, people dancing to the music, people eating, some drinking out of fruits and wearing flower necklaces. I was admiring everything from the big welcome signed to the starry sky then my thoughts were interrupted by some boy trying to ask me to dance.

Ray:no bruh she's with me

The random dude walks away fists clenched I recognized his face but I don't know from where my train of thought was interrupted again by ray. As his friends walked off talking to some girls.

Ray:come on

I follow him to an empty bench and sat down the seat was cold but quickly warmed up ray spoke again.

Ray:(puts his arm around me)the night is just right

He leans in to kiss my cheek but I reject him

Yn:ray you do know were not together

Ray: so you don't want to be with me

Yn:I'm in a relationship

Ray:(puts his in front him)an abusive one

I get interrupted by Chris and crew of two walking up to us one of them was the guy I rejected earlier.

Chris-4th time I got you with him boo not a good look I came over to your house earlier babe where you been

Ray-(stands up)with me

Chris-is this true

Ray smiled at me and held his hand out I looked into his eyes his eyes told me a lot it's like he really wants to be there for me I just needed to trust him I smiled and took rays hand

Yn- yes I'm with him he's my boyfriend Chris me and you are no longer

Chris-I thought you'd say that

Chris snapped his fingers and they started walking towards us and stopped when roc prince and prod came

Roc-what's the problem here

Prod-looks like there's about to be a fight

Prince-we'd like to join

Chris narrowed his eyes at us gave me a look and walked away with his friends his look said 'this isn't over' ray got a call from mrs smith saying she needs us to come home and get the children she had a date. We took off for the kids leaving roc prod and prince behind.After we got the kids we headed to my house as soon as we got to my house the kids ran up stairs. Me and ray sat on the couch:

Ray:so

Yn:want to come upstairs with me I'm sleepy

Rays pov

I followed her upstairs to her room u closed the door behind me and laid on the bed while Yn put her pjs on in the bathroom and crawled into bed turning and lava lamp on and her room light off. I removed my pants putting on some basketball shorts I snagged from the house and got under the covers with Yn it was 10:30.

Ray:did you mean it

Yn:did I mean it why(said sleepily)

Ray:when you said you were my gf

Yn:no not really

Ray:would you ever consider being my girl

Yn: no I couldn't be with a guy like you

I turned away from her not wanting to hear anything else until she shook me and spoke again

Yn: ray I was jk I would love to be with you

Ray:so you'd be my gf

Yn:yes ray

Ray:you promise to be mines forever ever

There was silence I turned back to her she was sleep and right up under me I put my arm around her and went to sleep

No ones pov

Rays brother came In the room

Rb:can we stay here-(looks at Yn and ray sleep cuddling closes the door and walks back to Riley's room where everyone else is)hey guys he said yes
