CHAPTER 20 - Rage

"seeing herself was magic but her favorite act was making herself disappear"

POV OF AUTHOR

Asteria closed the door behind Lorenzo, Issac, and Feyre, casting a silence over the room. The aftermath of chaos left them in the dorm belonging to Feyre and Asteria.

Lorenzo, visibly shaken from the earlier tumult, sat in Feyre's bed. Tensions lingered, as his chest vigorously rose up and down.

Lorenzo and Dalia, their connection strained and unexplored until this pivotal moment. Dalia infuriated Lorenzo with the depth of knowledge between him and Feyre.

For Lorenzo, typically known for patience and kindness, this was the breaking point. His calm demeanor shattered, revealing a side unseen by those around him, especially Feyre.

Different from his slytherin peers, he held respect for others and safeguarded his reputation, aspiring to emulate his esteemed brother in the eyes of his influential family—the Berkshires.

Yet, on this day, restraint eluded him. Witnessing the degradation of the one girl he cared for compelled him to act against his nature.

Feyre, attempting to quell his anger, held his hand, but his eyes smoldered with a desire for revenge against Dalia, mirroring Feyre's pain.

"She shouldn't have done that," he uttered, his eyes ablaze with fury, vowing retribution. The atmosphere thickened, and Isaac attempted to say something to calm Lorenzo. "Calm down Enzo"

Feyre, beside herself with hurt, wept as Lorenzo vowed vengeance. Asteria jumped from her bed and sat beside her, soothingly consoling her as both of them witnessed Lorenzo's unchecked rage. His words, a torrent of anger, echoed in the room. The once-loving Lorenzo had become an unfamiliar force, leaving Feyre distraught in Asteria's comforting embrace.

Realization dawned on Lorenzo, understanding the fear he instilled in Feyre. His swan was scared of him. He strides towards Issac who seemingly seemed to be witnessing everything, " Tell me Issac do I make you fucking scared" he shouted, making Issac shut in his eyes.

Silence only greeted him for an answer as he questioned once more. "Tell me!" He screamed. The soft sobbing of Feyre only were heard.

Silence again. Issac was unable to answer him because he knew that if he was to, it would just make the situation more worse.

His outburst shattered the tranquility, and he stormed out, leaving behind a hurtful silence, the door slamming shut. Feyre flinched, her sobs intensifying as Asteria rubbed her back.

Isaac, a silent witness, gazed at Feyre as her cries echoed in the room. Thunder rumbled, and Asteria's gentle touch eased Feyre's distress.

Issac's head turned towards the window near Asteria's bed gazing at the heavy rain pouring from the dark sky.

It was going to be a long rainy night.

Lorenzo pushed through the crowd of people walking to his first class of the day-Defense Against The Dark Arts.

Lorenzo didn't attend the same class as Feyre, Asteria or Issac. Their timetables weren't matched at all. He was always annoyed by that, but today It seemed that he was glad it was that way as wasn't ready to face the group since he stormed out last night.
