The next morning I woke up feeling content, I was excited for my tour, it felt surreal, but with everyday that passed it felt more and more real. Today I would be going to Seattle to rehearse for the tour.

I walked out of my room and into Bella’s she was sitting in her chair and getting ready in front of a mirror.

“Hey Bells, I’m leaving in a bit to rehearse, do you need a ride to school it’s on the way. Or is Edward driving you?” I wiggled my eyebrows at her. She giggle and replied.

“That would actually be great, Edward and his family always go camping on nice days.”

“Cool, I’ll get ready and then we can go.” She nodded and I walked back into my room.

I put on some black leggings and a matching sports bra, on top I put on a zip up running shirt. I threw my hair up in a high pony and didn’t bother with makeup, I put on sneakers and put on some deodorant. I grabbed my backpack that had deodorant, a charger, my phone and some water.

I walked down the stairs and grabbed a granola bar.

“Bells, we need to leave now!” I called up the stairs.

“Coming!” She hollered back.

We got into my dark green jeep, I started it and began driving after throwing my backpack into the back seat.

We pulled into the high school parking lot and I could see every head turn to us, some pulled out their phones and others just stared wide eyed.

“I’m sorry about this Bells, maybe me driving you wasn’t an amazing idea.” I told her looking around.

“No, it’s fine I’m used to the staring by now, it’ll just be like it’s the first day of school again. I’ll see you later, Nova.”

I smiled at her as she stepped out of the car. I pulled out of the lot and made my way to Seattle.

Apparently the paparazzi figured out where I was rehearsing and my schedule because as soon as I stepped out of my car cameras began flashing. I kept my head down and followed one of my dancers into the building.

I had taken off my sweater and put down my bag, we had talked and went over a few things as a group. We were all in our positions as the music clicked on, I had a mic that was turned off in my hand while doing the dance moves.

We practiced for a few hours before calling it a day, I left, once again avoiding the paparazzi. I got in my car and drove to a coffee shop where I had planned to meet up with my best friend Taylor.

I stepped out of the car and into the shop, walking to the table that she was at.

“Nova! I’m so happy you’re here!” She smiled at me with a slight country accent. It used to be more extreme but since she moved to New York it’s died down.

“Hey Tay! I’m really happy that you’re new job is in Seattle.”

“I know, I am too, it’s so exciting being near you for once.” We both laughed at her statement, most of the time we weren’t near each other since most of her gigs brought her to either big cities or outside the country.

We both grew up in Nashville together so I still had a slight country accent but it had mostly died down since I had moved to New York a few years before she did. I guess she held onto it better than I did.

“So how’s the new job?” I asked her.

“It’s good, I’m excited to be working with the big names. Im also happy that it’s based on the book series, so I know that it’ll pan out better than other ones I’ve done.” I hummed in response. “How’s prep for the tour, I’m excited to see it. It’s everywhere, people are really excited for it!”

I smiled at her, “It’s really great, I’m having a lot of fun. I keep thinking that it’s a dream, it’s just so surreal that 20000 people are coming to each show. I can’t believe it’s happening.”

She patted my arm, “Well, you better believe it because it’s happening soon.” I laughed at her comment along with her. “So are you excited for the nominations for the VMAs?”

I chuckled a bit, “Please, I’m not getting nominated for that.” She gave me a disbelieving look.

“Yes you will, you had an amazing song and video, you’re going to get nominated and I’m going to be there when you are.”

For the next 2 hours we sat in the coffee shop catching up, we decided that she should come to my house and meet my dad and sister, she would stay overnight and I could show her around Forks.

As soon as we stepped out of the shop, cameras flashed. We remained unfazed and continued our conversation, quieting it a bit. We got in my car, her having being driven by one of her costars on the way home.

When we finally arrived home, we walked through the front door. The absence of paparazzi was freeing in a way, not constantly needing to worry about how you look. Once inside, we were greeted by my father watching the football game with Billy Black. It didn’t surprise me one bit.

“Hey Nova.” Charlie greeted me half heartedly, I raised an eyebrow.

“Dad, uncle Billy, this is my bestfriend Taylor. Taylor this is my dad and my sorta uncle Billy.” She smiled at them as they turned their heads.

“It’s nice to meet you both. I hope you’re both doing well?” She questioned at the end.

“I’m healthy as a horse! Still riding around. You two really are twins.” Billy told her, he always had a way of saying exactly what the conversation needed.

Once in my bedroom, we sat on my bed talking about the nominations.

“I think that we should have a big thing with Selena and Jen and Emma and Lana, have the girl squad over. We could watch it live and play games.” I pursed my lips slightly.

“What if I don’t get nominated?” My insecurities shon through as I voiced my concerns.

“Well if you don’t get nominated, and this really is if because we all know that you will, then it’ll be your closest friends. We would never judge you, we’ll be with you in accomplishment and in defeat.”

After a few seconds of thinking, I gave in. “Okay… I’ll have our group over at my place later this week so that we can watch it live.” She began to cheer playfully, while I laughed.

We texted the group chat about the plans, who all immediately texted back. We decided to call it a night after watching a couple movies and got under the covers. We fell into sleep, I dreamt of being a world famous singer who played sold out stadiums and who people faught to see in concert.
