For the next week and a half all I did was spend time in La Push, go to Seattle, spend time with Paul, and hangout with my sister. It was all work, but tonight was the VMAs.

We had decided that I would bring my mom and Taylor, I had asked my dad and sister, but they both declined. They said that it wasn’t their scene, which I could understand, neither of them liked being in the spotlight. I was thinking of bringing Paul, but so far no one really knows about us and we wanted to keep the media away from us.

I had been staying in a hotel in Nashville, where they would take place. Taylor and my mom each had their own rooms on either side of mine.

I woke up in the cushy hotel bed, and rolled over to check the time. Seeing that it was already 8:30, I got up and made my bed. I went into the bathroom and took my time showering, washing my hair, scrubbing a shaving my body clean.

Once I finished, I walked back into the bedroom and put on shorts and a tight long sleeved shirt. I left my hair sopping wet and without makeup. We would be going to the getting ready room on the first floor later, this hotel was one that everyone was staying in for the VMAs. They had multiple small get ready rooms on the first floor, ready with good lighting and mirrors.

The day flew by, and soon enough it was time to meet my team in the ready room. My hair was still damp, and my mom had my dress in a dry cleaning bag. Together, me, my mom and Taylor went through the endless halls and down the elevator and into the get ready room.

As soon as I walked in my team all looked at me and began gushing about how excited they were for me and how beautiful I would look.

It took a couple hours to fully do my hair and makeup for tonight. What I was most excited about was the dress, it was gorgeous.

Once they finished completely with my makeup, it was time to get my dress on. I stepped into it while my team adjusted it around my body.

I looked in the mirror once it was fully ready, I had almost never seen myself like that before.

“Oh sweetie, you look incredible

“Oh sweetie, you look incredible.” My mom gushed while covering her mouth.

“You really do look stunning Nov.” Taylor added. I hugged both of them, careful not to ruin the makeup that my team had just done.

In the end, it was time for us to leave, outside the room there was a group of bodyguards, waiting to escort me to my carriage that would bring me to the event.

It was a literal carriage that I was riding in, it was white and it looked like it was from a fairytale. I couldn’t believe it was bring me to the VMAs.
