For the next two weeks I threw myself into my work, getting ready for the tour, and focusing on my friends. I didn’t bat an eye at Paul. I spent time with my sister, my friend group and my new friend Charlotte. I got to know the Cullens a bit more and I hung out with Emily and Leah. I was avoiding the pack a bit, mainly because wherever they were, Paul was.

Today was the opening night of my tour, I had sold out almost all of my shows. I had a raised gazebo type thing where my family (with Phil, Billy) and my friend group would be, I also decided to let my sister bring a few of the Cullens if any of them wanted to come. I had gotten Leah, Emily, and Charlotte (who had become a sort of trio) front row seats along with Jake.

I was backstage with my mom and Taylor, I was understandably nervous, opening night in a tour is always nerve racking.

“You got this, just remember, no one out there hates you. They’re all here to see you, because they love you and your music. I love you.” Taylor spoke to me and then pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back and then she went to go to the gazebo. My mom kissed my forehead and then followed out after Taylor.

I shook my hands out and warmed up my voice, I had people making sure my outfit was good.

I stepped onto the platform that would lift me up, the video began playing on the big screen

I stepped onto the platform that would lift me up, the video began playing on the big screen. As soon as it ended, my band began to play and my lift rose.

“If you can see that I’m the one who understands you, been here all along so why can’t you see, you belong with me

“If you can see that I’m the one who understands you, been here all along so why can’t you see, you belong with me. You belong with me.” I sang into the mic, I looked around at the sold out show in awe, for myself and for everyone who had been with me. Everything, all my hard work for the past few months led up to this performance. And I nailed it. Everyone in the crowd looked so happy to be here, they were all screaming and cheering. I couldn’t help but smile.

In the middle of the bridge of the song my outfit was pulled off which revealed my dress that I would wedge for most of the first act.
