Chapter 14

Destiny's P.O.V

Melody and I were back at our house. We were currently watching Pretty little liars when there was a knock at the door downstairs. "Maybe it's A." Melody joked while laughing. I opened the door "Mom, Dad your back?" I said more like a question. "Last time I checked we live here too." they snapped at me. "I know but your not here often" let me tell you a little about my parents. My mom is a clothing designer and my dad is a movie director.

Those jobs are easy to hear and say but hard to leave and do.

Melody came downstairs and her face expression was the same as mine, shocked and confused. "Your here early." melody said to our parents. "I thought you guys would be happy to see us." our dad said. "We are but you don't usually come in the middle of summer, nor the middle of fall, or the middle of winter, and the middle of spring." I snapped at them but after I said that I felt bad. "Sorry it's been a long day." I lied. "It's fine" my mom said with a low voice and a small smile.

We had our family moment which happens every other month and eating pizza while watching one of my dads movies. Melody fell asleep and my dad took her upstairs bridal style. Once he came back I stood up and I was walking upstairs when they both stopped me.

"Destiny wait." my mom said "sit down" my dad patted the seat across from them. "What's wrong?" I said concern. "Do you want to talk about what happened in the last party you and Melody went to?" My dad asked. "Look I don't feel like talking about it right now or never ok so can you and the police and my doctor stop asking me the same question." I snapped at them. "Look we are just concern about you honey, you haven't been the same." My mom said. "Well maybe I want to change who I am." and like that I went to my room and cried myself to sleep.
