Chapter 18

Destiny's P.O.V

It was 7:00 AM and we were still in a jail sail. "Do you guys have anybody to come pick you up." Officer McDavid said. The boys shook their heads and Melody and I nodded. "Wait your parents are here." Officer McDavid said while pointing at Melody and I. "I know right shocker. Can we call them and let them pick us all up?" I said. "I'll call them." He said walking away but I stopped him. "Wait can I call them and explain everything myself? Please."

We were all squished in my dads fancy car. Surprisingly my parents were being nice to the guys. "Destiny your dad is so cool and your mom is so pretty." Aaron whisper to me. "I know right." I whispered back while looking at my dad through the mirror. We dropped the boys at Taylor's house and we were heading home.

"I'm going upstairs to sleep." Melody said. "Me too." I said trying to avoid my parents. Until they stopped me. "Wait Destiny come here." I sat down and my parents started speaking. "What were you thinking, going to a party." my dad said. "C'mon are you serious, nothing bad happened." I said to them. "Maybe not but something could've happened." My mom said. "You know what, when Melody said we were going. I didn't want to go. But once we were there I realized that not because of what happened last time doesn't mean it will happen this time." I said.

"Your lucky those boys look like people that care about you and your sister." My dad said. "Not like Anthony." he added. "Are you serious HE DEFENDED ME WHEN LUCAS RAPED ME WHICH SURPRISINGLY YOU LIKED HIM AND ASKED HIM TO BE MY BOYFRIEND JUST FOR HIS DAD TO BE YOUR PARTNER FOR A MOVIE. WHICH ALL OF THAT BRINGS US TO TODAY." I screamed at my dad and I didn't realize I was crying. My dad stayed silent. The room got awkward and my mom gave me the "calm down and say something" look. "At least you like the guys. That's a good thing." I said and then walked away.
