Chapter 32

Destiny's P.O.V     *a week later*

I fell asleep being 17 and I woke up being 18. Today is the day I get to be an adult. I've been waiting for this day. I wonder what I'm doing today.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!" My parents yelled while entering my room with a cupcake in their hands. Whats weird is that Melody wasn't with them and usually she's the first one to come in. "Aww thanks you guys. Um where is melody?" I asked. They looked at each other then to me. "She had volleyball practice." my mom said. "That's weird usually we cancel all our plans and spend the day together." I said disappointed while looking at the ground. "Don't be sad. Today is the day. So get ready because we are going out for lunch." My dad said while patting my knee.

I put the sadness at the side and took a shower. I decided to wear my Maroon shorts with a black tank top that said New York and a light wash denim shirt with my white high top converse. I curled my hair and put a bit of make up.

Authors note: the picture of the outfit its in the first page. Btw I didn't know how to describe the black shirt so I just said "New York" lol

I was currently in the back seat of my dad's car. He parked outside my favorite pizza parlor by the beach. "PIZZA!!" I said in a monster voice. My parents started laughing. We were eating pizza when my mom started talking.

"So..um I got the results of your interview." she said. "Really. Oh my god tell me tell me tell me that has been killing me this whole week." I said. "Do you want the good news or bad?" she said. "Aw there's bad news. No I want the good one." I said. "Ok so you got the internship." She said. "Oh my god yes." I said excited. "Now the bad news, if you want to take the internship you have to move to New York for 5 years." she said. "What why I'm not even out of high school yet, and what am I going to do alone in New York." I said starting to freak out.

"Ok here is where I come in." my dad said. "If you decide you want to take it. I'll go with you to New York for all 5 years because of you and because I just got a call that I get to do a movie there." he said. "And if I don't?" I asked. "If you don't want to go. I can do the movie here in LA." he said.

I want to go but the guys are here, Cameron is here and melody is here. Basically my whole life is here in LA. I can't just leave it all over night.

"The reason why it's 5 years it's because they saw the pictures you took and they said that with the internship that will take you a year and that year would be senior year then there's 4 years of collage but they said they would pay for collage if you take the photography career. So basically you life is set. That's what you wanted ever since the first time you touched a camera." my mom said.
"You have 3 days to think about it." My dad said.
