Chapter 25

Destiny's P.O.V

It was midnight when I woke up. I decided to go downstairs for a cup of water. While I was going downstairs I heard whispering. I got against the wall so whoever was there won't see me. I got the sharpest thing around me which was Melody's Volleyball trophy. Just when I got to the last step the whispering stopped. I went to the kitchen and no one was there.

"What are you doing awake."

I jumped when I heard those words. I turned around and it was my parents. "What the hell you scared the crap out of me." I said. "First, watch your language. And second what are you doing awake?" My dad said. "Sorry, and I just came for a glass of water. What about you guys?" I asked. "We came for a cup of coffee." my mom said. "It's midnight. But anyways now that the 3 of us are here. Can we talk?" I said. "It's midnight." My dad said mocking me in a joking way.

"Ok so what do you need sweetheart." my mom said. "First, thanks for the modeling job the guys are really happy about it and so do I even though I don't really like modeling but I'll do it for you. And second why did you choose Anthony and why did he come back." I said. My mom and dad looked at each other then they looked at me. "Look the reason why Anthony left to New York was for his modeling career." My mom said. "Yes I know that." I said. "Ok so I called him and offered him the modeling job. I thought you and melody would be happy and I also thought about the guys being friends with him." My mom said.

"What about you dad. You hate Anthony. Weren't you suppose to stop my mom." I said to my dad. "After what you told me when we were arguing about the party. I felt bad I treated him bad so I called him and apologized. And I was the one that suggested your mom to call Anthony." I was speechless after what I heard. It just doesn't make sense. When Anthony asked me out my dad hated the idea. And now he randomly likes him.

"Why are you so mad at the idea?" My mom asked. "Well mom he left me and told me to wait for him for six months. Then after the six months he told me that he wanted to break up with me and that he moved on. Then when he randomly comes back to LA after ignoring Melody's texts and calls and after he left me hanging he comes and flirts with me on stage and then he blames my relationship with Cameron and blames me for the brake up. Now that's what I call a jerk."

"If your mad at him for blaming you on the brake up. Just remember that he never said anything about stop being best friends with you and Melody." my mom said while pointing to the picture we have hanging on the wall.
