Destiny's P.O.V

My parents have been bothering me for my answer wether to go to New York or stay with my friends. I already have an answer but I don't know how to tell my family.

"Destiny, dinners ready." My mom yelled. I walked downstairs and the first thing that hit me was the smell of lasagna. Which is my favorite food. She only made it because she wants me to make up my mind.

We were eating peacefully until my mom talked. "Destiny, sweetie I know we might annoy you with this question but do you have an idea of what to do?" My mom asked. "I did and I decided..." All I eyes were on me. It was hard to look into my mom and melody's eyes. "I decided that I want to go to New York. For 5 years only." I said more like a whisper. Melody stormed off to her room. "We leave tomorrow at 12." My dad said. "Can I be excused."

"Hey." I knocked into Melody's door. "Why are you leaving me?" She asked "I'm sorry. The reason why I'm leaving is because I have my future in my own hands. All I need is a plane ticket to New York and that's it." I tried to explain. "But your leaving me, the guys, Anthony, and Cameron." She said. "To be honest. I'm leaving because of Cameron." I said more like a whisper.

"Make me a favor. Give this letter to Cameron tomorrow." I said handing her an envelope. "And don't worry we can face time and snapchat. You can even come and visit me in New York." I said trying to cheer her up. "I love you. Don't forget that." She said. "I won't I promise. Hey when I come back I'll be 23 and you'll be 22." I said making her laugh.
