Chapter 10:
Heart AcheAnna
I lay on my bed, looking at the alarm clock. It had been nearly three hours since Jack took me flying. I couldn't stop thinking about what he said.
It's a lie. He jokes around all the time! It wouldn't make sense anyways!
He wouldn't lie like that! He wouldn't take it that far. Besides, it does make sense. That's why he would get so nervous when I threatened to call the cops!
Who wouldn't get nervous if you threatened to call the cops?
Why else would he be homeless?
I heard three knocks on my door and Aunt Ingrid came in. "Hey, how was school today?"
"Fine."
She sat down on my bed. "Is everything okay?"
"Yeah," I lied.
"I left some soup in the kitchen if you get hungry. Did you finish up your homework?"
"Most of it. I was just taking a break." I said.
"Finish up so we can watch TV." She kissed my cheek and left the room.

Finally, I finished the math packet!
I stuffed my homework in my bag and placed it near the door. I was about to turn on the TV when the doorbell rung. I stopped. Who could that be? Mer and Punzie would have asked before coming over.
I opened my door to see Aunt Ingrid going downstairs to open the door, also with a confused look. So she wasn't expecting anyone either...?
I froze. Jack! He could have come to apologize again! He knows Aunt Ingrid can't know about him!
I shut the door. I didn't want to see him.
I heard the front door open. An unfamiliar voice was talking... But it wasn't Jack. It was female.
I opened the door a little bit and peeked through the space. It was a girl, maybe a little bit older than me. She was beautiful. Her hair was bright blonde, and she had shining blue eyes like Aunt Ingrid. I couldn't help but feel jealous.
I watched as Aunt Ingrid put her hands to her face and began to cry. The girl also teared up, and they both hugged each other. So... They know each other? Who is she?
As they released from their embrace, Aunt Ingrid smiled and said, "Come in. Make yourself at home."
The mysterious girl came in to the house, her traveling bags behind her. I quickly shut the door, horrified. She's staying in our house? Why? I don't even know who she is!
I opened the door again, and I saw her looking straight at me. If I shut the door again it would seem childish. I can't be childish! I have to show her this is my house!
I stepped outside my room and started going down the stairs. Aunt Ingrid looked up and smiled at me. "Anna! There's someone I'd like you to meet!"
I reached the end of the stairs and nodded at her. "This is Elsa, she'll be staying here for... Quite some time."
I held out my hand at the same time she tried to hug me. We both stopped; she pursed her lips and held out her hand too. We shook hands, but it was... awkward. Why did she try to hug me in the first place?
"Stay right there, Elsa, I'll get you some soup." Aunt Ingrid said and went into the kitchen.
I followed her in."Who is she? Why is she staying?" I asked.
"Anna, things are complicated right now and I need you to trust me."
"I trust you! But I need answers!" I exclaimed.
She stopped cooking. "Alight. But please don't overreact."
"Okay...?" I answered skeptically.
Aunt Imgrid held both of my hands. "Elsa... Is your sister."
