Chapter 6:
How to Make an Entrance

Jack

As Anna got up to get on the bus, I waved goodbye, but she pretended not to notice. I frowned. As soon as the bus rounded the corner, I flew up and towards its direction. I landed carefully on the top of the bus so no one would hear me. I peeked over the edge of the bus and I spotted Anna, leaning on the window. Her blue eyes brightened up her face, and I realized: I had lied.

She looked amazing in orange.

I laid down on the bus' roof, looking down at Anna once in a while. Anna might be an obnoxious, annoying, clumsy, and feisty teenage girl, but she made me feel something I had never felt before, but I couldn't put my finger on it...

A few snowflakes flowed from my fingertips and drifted into the window. I watched as Anna hugged herself with her arms and closed the window. She looked up to see where they came from, and I quickly hid behind the bus roof.

I hate to admit it, but Anna Summers was making me feel a strange way.

Anna

I climbed out of the bus and headed straight for the school. Those snowflakes that came into my bus- how could that happen? It doesn't snow in Arendelle, it's always sunny. It's even sunny in the winter, it's impossible! And it wasn't even cold outside. Where did they come from?

I hurried into the cafeteria to meet Punzie and Mer.

"Hey! Hans deleted his Instagram post, did you notice?" Punzie asked.

"Um yeah," I said, still confused about the snowflakes and what happened last night.

"See, I told you it'd blow over." Mer smiled.

"See, Hans totally understands!" Punzie exclaimed.

"Hans isn't what I'm worrying about anymore." I said, immediately regretting it.

"What do you mean?" Punzie asks.

I was about to answer when the bell rang. I sighed. "I'll tell you later." I told them, walking quickly to the building where my class was.

Jack

I landed on the roof of the school once Anna got out of the bus, watching her from above. After a few minutes, she came out and went to another building. I couldn't help but watch her. Why am I feeling this way? Why do I have to be close to her at every moment possible?

...

After stealing food from the cafeteria occasionally, I climbed up onto the air vents in the cafeteria and saw Anna come in with her two friends. No one could see me; one specific air bent in front of me kept me hidden. Anna and her friends sat in a table on the other side of the room, so I crawled over the air vents to hear what they were saying. I scurried to be closer to her table.

Anna

I sat down with Punzie and Mer at our usual table. "So what was that all about today? You seemed... Weird." Asked Punzie.

"I went home yesterday and I found someone sleeping in my garage... His name is Jack Frost."

"You what?!" Merida shouted, drawing attention to other people.

"Yeah... I kicked him out and he broke in again. I kicked him out- again- but... It was different this time. He was nice and funny.... I don't know, it's weird." I told them.

"Wait, wait, wait." Punzie said. "Are you saying you're starting to like the guy who broke into your house twice?"

"I never said that!" I exclaimed, and it almost sounded like I was defending myself. But why?

Punzie and Mer both raised their eyebrows. "I don't like him, okay? I just said that I felt weird."

Jack

I finally sat on the air vent above Anna's table. I leaned over to hear what they were talking about, and I heard my name at some point.

She was telling them about me? I suddenly felt extremely excited, and I became nervous. Was she telling them good things? She didn't seem too happy yesterday.

I leaned over a bit more to hear more, but the air vent suddenly snapped and I plunged down into the cafeteria.

Anna

Punzie put down her food. "Is he like... Hot?"

I looked skeptically between Mer and Punzie before whispering, "Yes."

"What does he look like?" Asked Merida, chewing on her pizza.

"He has deep blue eyes, really light messy hair, and pale lips-" I began, but was suddenly interrupted as the air vent above us broke and a figure came falling down onto our lunch table.

Food landed everywhere and a bunch of people began to scream. Mer, Punzie, and I had shielded our face to protect ourselves from food or whatever came down. All of us took away our hands from our face. I looked down at the table to see Jack hunched over on our lunch table, food and drinks on top of him.

Mer stared wide-eyed at his face, looking up at me. "Does he look like this?"

I stood in silence, stunned at Jack's sudden entrance. I nodded slightly, and Punzie and Mer exchanged looks.

The cafeteria was quiet, everyone staring in awe at Jack laying on the table, obviously hurt from the fall.

But mostly, everyone looked at me when Jack murmured, "Anna..." before passing out.
