"Where is everyone." Lucy said. We all stood in silence and listened. You could hear a butterfly landing on a twig, it was that quiet.

I started walking behind Caspian and saw Eustace struggling to get on land.

"Come on jelly legs." Reep said to the boy.

"I am capable of doing it myself." He said annoyed at the mouse. I quickly walked up to the boy and grabbed his wrist when he almost fell over. Instead of getting a angry look I got a look of appreciation. But that quickly washed away when he notice everyone was watching.

I gave him a slight smile anyway. I knew this boy would break his annoyed façade and will appreciate the beauty and lessons Narnia has to offer.

We both made our way to the other three who were waiting for us. I saw anxiety on all their faces. Lucy held onto her dagger, Edmund onto his swords and Caspian held onto his crossbow.

All of the sudden we heard a loud bell making everyone grab their weapon.

"Reepicheep, stay here with Drinian's men and secure the place." He spoke to the mouse. "We will head on. If we don't come back by dawn, send a party."

I quickly walked up next to Caspian.

"I didn't I could have chosen a crossbow." I said in a joking manner to lighten up the mood. Caspian gave in a laugh and he bumped his shoulder with mine. My cheeks started hurting from the smile on my face. I really like his laugh.

"It would be to heavy for you." He joked with me but I knew the right answer to all of the things he said.

"It is not smart to assume that." I started walking a little bit faster then him with a smile on my face, letting him know I was not mad at him for saying that. "Last time it didn't end very well for you to assume things." I gave him a wink and started walking to a door.

I waited for everyone here and Lucy came up to my slowly. The boys were talking to Eustace who just came back with discomfort written over his face after looking in a house.

"What was that." Lucy whispered to me, making sure the guys didn't hear anything.

"What was what?" I asked her. I didn't know what she meant. Was it rude what I said to the king, talking back to him.

Before I could say anything the boys started to open up the large doors. The sun was setting and it was getting dark fast. I never liked the dark, I never knew why some people did. It gave me the creeps, not knowing what was lurking in the shadows.

Eustace stayed outside to guard and I gave him a nod to let him know he got it. I know he does, or he will learn.

We walked into the building that kind of looked like a church. High ceilings, statues on the sides and glass on the side of the building that let in some rays of the last sunshine.

I swallowed when I saw cages hanging from the ceiling. They were big enough to fit a person.

In the middle of the room was a book with all sort of names written in it. Some were crossed out and some had numbers written next to their names. I looked at the top and saw that they also had written down the ages.

27 – 87 – 45 – 4

4? I thought. Why was there a four year old kid written in this book.

"Who are all off these people?" Lucy said answering the question that was on my mind.

"Why are they all crossed out?" Edmund moved his flashlight over the pages.

"Slave traders." Caspian whispered under his breath.

My breath got caught in my throat. They sold a 4 year old to someone, poor kid.

"That is awful." I said maintaining eye contact with the child's name. I moved my finger over his name, age and how much he was sold for. It really hurt to see this, how could they do this to someone so young?

My thoughts were broken when I heard a loud bell. People were coming down from the ceilings on a robe. Caspian grabbed my arm and took me to the side and placed me behind him.

I didn't have the time to scold him that I could handle it when another man dropped behind me. I quickly grabbed my two daggers and began to fight the man. With the short lesson I had from Edmund I quickly disarmed the man leaving him on the ground with my dagger in his stomach.

I saw Caspian working with a sword and had dropped his crossbow. I saw a man sneaking up to him so I quickly grabbed one of my throwing knives and threw it in the mans shoulder. I was instantly grabbed from behind as someone held me with their arms around my neck.

I bumped my head back into his face making him go off balance. I grabbed his arm that was around my neck and threw him over my shoulder to the ground. I hit him square in the face making him unconscious.

I grabbed another throwing knife and looked around to see who needed some help.

"AAAH!" I heard a door clash shut and I saw a man holding Eustace with a knife against his throat.

"Drop you weapons or you will hear this little one scream again." The guy said with a sickening grin on his face. Everyone dropped their weapons and so did I. I put my daggers on the ground but held a throwing knife in my hand. "Seize them." The man commended to his crew.

I saw a guy from my right walking slowly up to me and grabbed my arm. His one hand held my arm and his other hand was on my lower back. Going lower and lower.

"If your smart you will stop right now." I said in a hushed but threatening voice.

"Your not the brightest young lady." The guy said with a smirk on his face. "You are surrounded, you cannot do anything." He hand was getting lower and lower until I was fuming with anger.

I held the knife tightly in my hand, and because he only held my upper arm I could still move my wrist and lower arm. I threw the knife right in his feet. He screamed and let go of me, I quickly turned around and beat the crap out of him till he was all bloodied up.

"Listen to me, you insolent fool!" I heard a tied up Caspian scream to the guy that was holding Eustace. "I am your King!

Three other man took me off of the guy. Once I was in irons one of the guys punched me straight in the face, making my lip bleed. I groaned in pain and spit out the blood. My face was fuming with anger, but I couldn't do anything.

"You are going to pay for that." Caspian said to the guy that had punched me in the face. His jaw was tightened and I knew he was ready to kill anyone in his path to get to me. To get us all to safety.

"Actually." A guy came from the shadows a sickening grin on his face. "Someone else is going to pay... for all of you."
