We were inside the giant mansion. Bookshelf were all over the walls and some books were scattered on the ground. Lucy met Coriakin here, he is the owner of the island.

"Why did you say you made them invisible for their own good?" Lucy asked Coriakin.

"It was the easiest way to protect them from the evil." The man answered.

I looked around our group in confusion. Does he mean the mist?

"You mean the mist?" Thank you Edmund for again reading my mind.

"I mean what lies behind the mist."

We finally came to an open room. The walls were covered with shelves containing different books, all having their own story to tell. Some were even floating around the room in mid air. The air in the room had a comforting aroma of herbal tea and there was a fire place with soft looking chairs around it.

I felt a hand on my lower back which directed me to a map that Coriakin had put down. Caspian led me to stand beside him. His thump rubbed my back for one second before he put it back to his side.

"It is quite beautiful." Eustace said with admiration on his face. I tugged my lips in a slight smile, he is getting used to being here and he is starting to see the beauty that Narnia has to offer.

Before us laid a big map in 3D. The clouds were high in the sky and the mountains lay in the big vibrant sea. At the edge you could see horses and centaurs running over the green plains.

The map started to move. It moved over the sea, until it stopped.

"There lay our troubles." A dark gloomy cave came into view. The green mist was traveling around it and in it. "Dark Island."

We didn't know what it was but the name should says it all.

"The place where evil lurks, it can take any form." He looked at Edmund. "It can make your darkest dreams come true." He now stood in front of Edmund who I saw was slightly feared of what laid beyond it.

The man stood in the middle of the map. In all honesty, I thought he would fall.

"It seeks to corrupt all goodness." He glanced at every single on of us. Everyone was listening to every single word he said. The fear was already among us, I could feel it. The comforting aroma of the room was long gone.

"How do we stop it?" Lucy asked.

"You must break the spell." He again looked at Edmund and pointed at his sword. "That sword you carry, there are six others."

"Have you seen them?" Edmund asked.

"Yes."

"The six lords – they passed through here?" Caspian asked and took a step closer to Coriakin.

Coriakin nodded at him. "I have send them to a place." The map again began to move to another place. There was a beautiful big island. "You must follow the blue star to Ramandu's Island. There the seven swords must be laid at Aslan's table. Only then can their true magical power be released."

I didn't know I was holding my breath. All the other stories I have read were just fighting an obvious enemy. But now we don't know what we are fighting. We won't know what kind of form it will take.

"But be aware – you are all being tested." Well it just gets better and better doesn't it.

"Tested?" Lucy questioned.

"Until you lay down the seventh sword, evil has the upper hand."

Great.

"It will do everything in its power to tempt you."

My lungs started to hurt. What would my darkest fear be, is it my brother or something else I don't know I was fearing. I looked at the floor not really paying attention anymore. Until I felt a hand in mine. It was rubbing circles which calmed me down. I squeezed it to tell him I was alright even tho I wasn't.

"To defeat the darkness, you have to defeat the darkness inside yourself."

Once Coriakin was done, everyone was silent on the way back to the ship. No one uttered a word only Caspian telling Drinian what to tell the crew. Hoping they were brave enough to fight their deep dark fear.

I notice Caspian was still holding my hand till we had to board the boats that will take us to the ship. In the span that I have know Caspian I noticed he likes physical touch. Not only with me but also with Lucy and Edmund. He always put a friendly arm around them.

He knows I need it and I know he knows he calms me down somehow. If he couldn't - I know Lucy could, because she has always been my comforting character. Maybe it is time to tell her everything. It will help with the fears.

I sat in our room waiting for her to come back from talking to Edmund. Gael was reading a book at the window while I sat on the bed.

I heard the door creak open and Lucy walked in. She saw the state I was in, biting my lip and running my hand through my hair in anticipation.

"Hey, what is wrong?" She took a seat next to me on the bed.

"I have to tell you the whole truth until the evil thing gets to its first. I want to tell you everything about me. Before it gets out the wrong way."

And that is what I did. I told her what time I was from, the reason why I was afraid of the dark and about my brother in full detail. I also told her about shifting, what got me to this place. I told her that she was my comfort character and that I also knew her whole story.

In the end my voice was hurting from all the talking I did. My eyes were red of the tears I let fall.

Lucy was silent the whole time, listening to every single word I had to say. All I could see now was her teary eyes and shocked expression. I wanted to tell her sorry for not telling her sooner but I felt warm arms around me.

I threw my arms around her and sobbed in her shoulder.

"I am so scared." I confessed. "I don't want to leave this place, I don't want to wake up and go back to the hell I was living in. I don't want to say goodbye to everyone here.

"To Caspian." It wasn't a question, she knew I liked him even though I didn't even tell her. I just nodded my head.

"I really like it here, it is a do over for me. A ticket to show people who I really am."

"I am so sorry that you had to go through all of that. But you are safe here. Remember that there is a reason why you are here."

We stayed like this until I fell asleep not knowing another person standing behind the door hearing the whole thing. Eyes glossy and a box in his hand. He rubbed his finger over the old box he kept all these years.

Aslan gave it to him once the Pevensie's were gone and told him to give it to the right person. He didn't know who it would be, but Aslan said he would know when the time comes.
