I was sewing a jacket in a corner when I heard screaming and Eustace was running on deck like a wild animal. He was holding what looked like a sword and didn't make it a few feet before bumping in someone.

I put everything in the corner and stood up to look what was wrong with the young boy.

"Trying to run away." I saw Reep running next to the boy on the railing and grabbed a piece of robe and swung right in front of Eustace, making the boy stop in his tracks. "We are on a boat you know."

Reep took out his sword and held it up to Eustace. I quickly started walking to them but I felt a hand grabbing my wrist. Out of shock I turned their arm around to their back making them groan in pain. I then saw that it was Caspian who stopped me.

"I am so sorry, your Majesty." I let go of him and my eyes found my shoes way more interested then anything. That day on the island really put me on my toes.

"It is okay Lilith." He chuckled. "But let Eustace fight his own problems for today, okay?"

"Okay." I said in a low voice.

"Well come on, I don't want to miss the show." He held up his hand which I grabbed in hesitation and he took me a little bit closer to the 'show'.

Eustace took his sword and swung it at the mouse, obviously missing.

"We have got ourself a duel." Reep said and I noticed he had an orange on his sword. My lips instantly turned up. Everyone on the boat started to come see the duel. I felt warmth on my back and noticed that Caspian had took a stance behind me, very close. I swallowed and decided to pay attention to the duel. Not his heat, not his breath that was fawning on my neck.

I notice that Eustace was aiming to kill the mouse, but Reepicheep was way to skilled to get killed by the young lad.

"Now, stop flapping your wings like a drunken pelican." He said to Eustace. "Keep you blade up – up."

Eustace followed his instruction and now I saw that Reep was teaching him how to be a swordsman with this little duel. Finally someone who also wants to make sure this kid will survive all the future adventures.

They went on for a few minutes. Reepicheep giving him all the basic he needed to know. Eustace swung at the mouse which put him off balance and tripped over the railing of the boat.

I gasped and went forward, but once again Caspian held me and put his arms around me and pulled me back. Right. Into. His. Chest.

"He is okay." He whispered in my ear. His warm breath touching my neck making goosebumps appear. I tried to make my breath steady but it was very hard while standing against his rock hard chest.

I turned back to the scene when I heard a girlish scream. Eustace was on the ground and seemed to have pushed over a big basket.

I felt Caspian loosing his grip on me so I instantly went forward to investigate. I saw a little girl with long brown hair crawling out of the basket. Embarrassed that she has been caught. I noticed it was the girl that was running after the carriage on the Island.

"Gael?" I heard one of the new crewman say. He stepped forward and without any hesitation he took the little girl in his arms.

Drinian walked forward and the little girl went to stand behind her father. Afraid of what the Captain will do.

"Looks like we have an extra crew member." He bowed forward and gave the little girl the orange that was once on Reepicheeps sword.

Lucy and I made eye contact and with a nod we walked to the little girl.
