The Prank

"Ready?" Keefe asks as you all get to the Leapmaster at Everglen. You all nod. 

"Y/n and Tam first, then Sophie and me, Dex and Biana last," Keefe goes over one more time.

"Let's just do it already," you say, all the excitement from everyone amplifying your own. You and Tam go first, putting gulons everywhere. You see Sophie and Keefe setting up their gulons and Dex putting gulons in the lockers. He opens Stina's and puts seven in there, while he only puts one in all the others. You all get to the Gold and Silver Towers, meeting up with Wylie at the Silver Tower. He opens the Silver Tower with his DNA, and you all walk in, setting up all the gulons. Dex manages to hack into the Gold Tower, and you set up gulons in there, too. 

"This was fun," Keefe whispers as you head to the Foxfire Leapmaster. You all agree and leap back to Everglen. Alden and Della are in the living room when you arrive, you and Tam using your levitation to levitate over the gates and let the others in. You are all ready to see everyone's reactions to the Great Gulon Incident 2.0.

"Where have you all been?" Alden asks.

"No where in particular," you reply smoothly.

"What have you been doing?" Della asks.

"Trying to combine all the elements together with these guys watching. Linh, Wylie, and our Guster went back to their houses. We had a gnome help us for the Botanokinesis, since we don't know if there are any Botanokinetics. We were in a secluded area that doesn't really have anything flammable, just to be safe," you explain, lying through your teeth.

"How do you know you aren't lying?" Alden asks.

"Does it look like I'm lying?" you ask. He examines you and the group for a second then shakes his head.

"I don't believe you are," he admits. You nod.

"Mind if we all crash here? We're all kind of tired," Keefe asks.

"Make yourselves comfortable," Alden says dismissively, going to his bedroom with Della. You and Tam walk over to the couch in the living room, you sparking a fire in the fireplace. You and Tam fall asleep, cuddling on the couch. You wake up at around seven to the smell of breakfast.

"Smells delicious," Tam says, his voice deep from just waking up. Damn. The fire has died out by now and you meet up with the others in the kitchen, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. Tam has adorable bed head, making you smile.

"Oh my god. Bangs Boy with bed head," Keefe acknowledges as he walks into the room.

"Shut up, Sencen," Tam mutters, still with the deep voice.

"I like your morning voice," you shadow-whisper to him, making him blush.

"Why is Tam Song blushing?" Biana asks, coming down the stairs.

"Dammit," he mutters, giving you a glare. You smile innocently and Della laughs. You all eat and go to your respective homes to get ready for Foxfire.

"I liked your bed head," you tell him.

"Shut up, Sencen," he says, going to his room to get ready. You laugh.

"You know I never will!" you call to him.

"I hate you!" he calls.

"I love you, too!" you call back without even thinking. You blush instantly as Tam sticks his head out of his room. You note that he's shirtless.

"You love me?" he asks.

"No dip, Sherlock," you say sarcastically. He gives you a confused look.

"What?" he asks.

"I've been hanging around with Sophie too much," you respond simply.

"Fair," he says. "I love you, too." You blush again and Tam laughs. You guys get ready and go to Foxfire. You have a good poker face and start joking with Tam and Linh to cover up Tam's smile for him finding your jokes hilarious. During orientation, the place suddenly starts stinking from the gulons. Everyone starts gagging. Everyone is dismissed from school to clean up the gulons and the stink. You all get to Havenfield and start laughing your heads off. You note how beautiful Tam's laugh is. 

"What's the laughter about?" Edaline asks as she comes over. Grady comes over, too, sort of resembling Keefe if he were covered in dinosaur feathers.

"Someone recreated the greatest prank of all time," you say. "The whole school was evacuated."

"Which one of you was it?" Grady asks.

"None of us," Tam responds, still laughing quietly.

"Which prank was it? There have been quite a few good ones," Edaline points out. You take off your cape.

"Take a whiff," you order. She does.

"Great Gulon Incident. Has she still not been able to place who it was?" Edaline asks Keefe.

"I swear it wasn't me," he says, putting his hands up in defense. "But no."

"You should all get showered and changed. It'll help the stink," Grady says. You, Tam and Linh go to Alluveterre and shower and change. You go back to Havenfield and see the others start arriving as well. You and Keefe lock eyes and have to bite your lips to keep from laughing.

"What?" Sophie asks.

"Tam took longer than me and I did my hair, make up, and took 30 minutes picking out an outfit," you explain. "I had shadow-whispered it to Keefe."  Everyone bursts out laughing as Tam glares at you.

"I hate you, Sencen," he growls.

"I love you, too, Tammy," you respond, kissing his cheek before running inside. He chases you and you end up in Jolie's old room. He pins you against the wall.

"I didn't like that," he warns you. You giggle under his stare. He kisses you. You kiss back, wrapping your arms around his neck. His arms go around your waist, pulling you closer. You break away so you can breathe. You're both breathing heavily and smiling.

"Edaline's making," Sophie starts from the doorway. "Am I interrupting something?" Tam shakes his head no.

"What's Edaline making?" he asks.

"Mallowmelt," Sophie responds. Tam's face lights up and you squeal in joy. Sophie leaves. You go to run after you but Tam grabs your wrist lightly, pulling you towards him. He kisses you again and you kiss back. He breaks away.

"Race you," he says, then rushes out the door. You run out faster than him and beat him there.

"I beat you!" you exclaim, pumping your fist in the air.

"Indeed, you did," he agrees, laughing softly. You get the first slice of mallowmelt while Edaline was turned away to put the next batch in. Tam barely gets his in time. He sits at the table next to you and digs in. You laugh when he exclaims that it's hot while you eat.

"How are you eating that?" he asks after chugging a bottle of Youth.

"Pyrokinetic, Tam. Heat doesn't bother me," you remind him.

"Lucky," he mutters. You laugh as you keep eating. Grady comes down and takes a slice.

"I heard Tam. It was funny, I'll admit. I've had it too many times fresh to notice how hot it is," he explains, digging into his own slice. Tam pouts and you laugh at how adorable it is.

"Shut up, Sencen," he grumbles. This just makes you laugh harder.

"I haven't laughed this much in so long," you say, wiping tears from your eyes. Tam chuckles and kisses the top of your head. You all talk and laugh for hours and finally go to your respective homes. Tam doesn't know that you put some reekrod in his mattress and he comes out of his room gagging. You bite your bottom lip to keep from laughing.

"Why?" is all that he asks.

"It's funny," you reply and head to your room, going to sleep the moment your head hits your pillow.
