A/n: BOOK 9.5 IN THE KEEPER SERIES COMING OUT IN NOVEMBER!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Please excuse my small fangirl moment.

"Tam. Y/n. Wake up," Lesa's voice says, disrupting your sleep. 

"Yeah?" Tam asks groggily. His morning voice is just so freaking hot.

"You need to get ready for school," she replies. "You got some supplies sent in this morning. Breakfast is on the table with some lunch money. Go ahead and get ready." She leaves and you and Tam get ready.

"I call shower first!" you hear Colby claim.

"I'm the older one!" Gage retaliates.

"I'm the female," you say, walking into the bathroom and closing and locking the door. You get ready and exit the bathroom.

"If you guys can't decide who goes next, I'll flip a coin," you say, pulling out a quarter. Gage nods at you to flip the coin.

"Call it in the air," you order, flipping the coin.

"Tails!" Colby claims. 

"And it's tails! Colby goes first," you announce before walking off. You go to the kitchen to find that Tam is already there and eating breakfast. You grab your breakfast and the lunch money.

"How do you both cause and resolve problems with such ease?" Gage asks.

"Talent, my friend. It's talent," you respond. Tam chuckles and you smile at him. Colby comes down shortly after and y'all head outside, meeting up with Sam. You walk to the school, and you start getting nervous. Tam notices this and grabs your hand, rubbing soothing shapes on the back of it with his thumb. You all walk in together and heads turn upon seeing you and Tam. You notice a few girls (a lot of girls) fixing their makeup then smiling at Tam. Boys smile and wave slightly at you and one gets the nerves to come up to you.

"Hey, beautiful. I'm Tyler. But you can call me yours," he says.

"Hi. I'm Y/n. But you can call me your worst nightmare because if you flirt with me again, I will be your worst nightmare," you threaten. This causes Colby to look shocked and exchange a glance with Sam, Nate and Alex.

"What?" you ask.

"Tyler is the stereotypical bully. Trying to get with the hottest girl, picking on the 'losers' like Sam, Nate, and me.  You know. The one you see in movies," Colby responds. Tam and you exchange a glance, not knowing what he's talking about.

"We never really watched TV much in England. It was more... try not to get too overwhelmed kind of things. Juggling TV, homework, and work assigned by your parents wouldn't have done that wonders, you know?" you explain.

"I get it. We are so watching High School Musical tonight, though. Sharpay Evans is the female version of Tyler," Sam says. You and Tam agree because why not? You get your schedules and you and Tam have the same schedule.  First hour Theatre, second hour Robotics, third hour Science, lunch, fourth hour English, fifth hour Math, sixth hour P.E. Credit, seventh hour history. You walk to Theatre and meet Mr. Caradoc, your theatre teacher.

"Hi! You're the new students, right? What are your names?" he asks.

"I'm Y/n and this is Tam," you respond, being a little more outgoing than Tam. 

"Are you British?" he asks, replicating a really good British accent, honestly.

"Yes, actually. We are. Do you have a specific place you want us to sit?" you ask.

"Sit anywhere that is open," he replies, gesturing to the seats made like a proscenium stage. (A/n: a proscenium stage is a stage where the audience is on one side of the stage) You and Tam sit next to a girl with blonde hair and she smiles at you. You smile back and start fidgeting with your registry jewelry. A nervous habit you've started. You take notes on the Broadway theatre you're learning about.
