[Peat POV]

After weeks of being house-arrested. He likes to call it like that, fight him on this one. They finally let him go to work. It's not that Peat doesn't want to be at home, playing the role of a stay-at-home husband but he misses going out and just being in the office. It took him a lot of begging from both Fort and his best friends to let him go back to the office but of course, the trio still found a way to win the argument by assigning 24/7 bodyguards for Peat.

They were paranoid for some reason and every time that Peat tried to know why they were being paranoid, Fort and his best friends just shrugged it off as them being overly protective over him Peat knows it's more than that but they are keeping him purposely in the dark, probably to keep him away from any more harm.

But Peat knows that keeping him away from the people would hurt him, would just make those people more eager to get to him and hurt those very people who are currently protecting him.

He'll continue to act like he doesn't know.

"I know you don't do these fancy smancy suit buying but darling, the annual charity ball that your in-laws do every year is very luxurious and large-scale. You'll be officially announced as their heir's spouse. Of course, you need to be there wearing the most form-fitting, gorgeous suit. Imagine how Fort would look at you when you enter the party looking like a whole snack. You deserve the attention, sweet pea."

Peat sighed not even trying to win the argument with Noeul, he could try but he knew he wouldn't win the argument. Not when Noeul is pushing his shipping agenda.

"Okay, whatever you say Mom."

"But before we continue this suit-hunting for you, I need to run to the restroom," Noeul says in a hurry.

"Hurry up then, if we are going with your list. We still have a dozen stores left to look into." Peat says, shaking his head as he smiles at Nouel.

He was looking around when he felt a looming presence behind him. Peat smiled a little again, thinking it was Noeul and his silly pranks on him but before he could turn around and fire back at the silly prank of his friend, he was met with blunt force on the side of his neck effectively knocking him out.

Darkness. Again.

[Third person POV]

The first time I laid my eyes on Peat. It was vaguely around High school, he was only a class apart from me but somehow the moment I knew of his existence he would always be in my line of sight and always silent, mysterious but he was for him a ray of sunshine. He looks delicate, yes but it was his charm as a person.

Peat meeting Sun was a radical change for Sun, his life was a bore, colourless but the moment he laid his eyes on Peat. he went from monotone to something colourful. It was something that Sun was craving.

Sun has been in the UK since he was a child, as a son of someone's mistress, he was treated no more than a stranger by his father, a second option for everything that the legitimate heir has. A throwaway second option. His being thrown in the UK was some sort- of a silver lining for him. Away from the people he despised, the cruel people he calls family.

Then came Peat, lost in his new school, adjusting to the new environment he was thrown into, for some unknown reason. Sun is curious but also feels like he and Peat somehow share the same sentiment. Well, he was quite right. He investigated Peat, a very sad family story and a marriage that was arranged by the elders of the family, he was a puppet.
