[Peat]

Peat looks around his hospital room. He's been staying in the same room for a week now and right now he's just ready to call everything quits and go home and hopefully resume whatever he had left at work.

This thought was extinguished the moment he saw the reasons why he was still in the hospital bed, namely Fort, Boss and Noeul. For some unknown reason those three had loosened up around each other and they all seem to agree with being the overprotective people in Peat's life. Maybe he should have just run with the 'I hurt myself' excuse rather than telling everybody that someone had entered and knocked him unconscious. Peat looks at the trio again, he should be thankful that the most important people in his life are not trying to kill the other one or threatening to take Peat away somewhere far but right now Peat just wants to strangle the three.

"What do you mean by it wasn't you." Boss asked, everyone had their attention on Peat. never in his life, had he thought he would feel shy just because everyone's attention was on him but they do have the right to know that he didn't relapse nor he even wanted to harm himself he knows he's a lot stronger than that.

"When I went home, No one was around and the lights were out. Honestly, I was drained and just wanted to snuggle into bed and sleep off the events that happened, I thought of having a nice warm bath to settle my mind. When I went up there everything was already set up and nothing felt out of the ordinary that should have felt off right?"

Peat cannot help but laugh at his own lack of observation around him. When he saw that none of the three people he was with didn't laugh but rather all of their expressions darken, Peat felt the need to explain further.

"I didn't even feel any movements behind me, then i just felt something wet around the lower part of my face, I tried to fight it but the person who was with me was strong and they obviously were using some sort of chemicals to knock me out. Then the next thing i knew, i woke up here apparently with a deep cut in my wrist." Peat added, trying to add a little joke but that didn't work and made the whole room on another level of awkwardness.

"I- i need to step out for a while. Please excuse me." It was Fort who broke the silence of the whole room. Peat could see and hear how broken Fort sounded and this made Peat guilty. He didn't want Fort to see him like this, not like this. Broken probably beyond repair.

Peat and his friends look at Fort's retreating back. When Fort was out of the room and out of their earshot Noeul started again.

"He was the one who saw you first, he's probably shaken up with the things he had learned today,"

Noeul explained but still, that didn't make Peat any better; he rather feels worse that it was Fort who saw him. Peat isn't someone who isn't aware of how twisted and scary it is to find someone on the verge of bleeding out to death. Peat knew firsthand how it could affect someone, as bad as it sounds, he did traumatize Noeul with that scene already.

"And Boss did threaten him if things would go wrong with you-" That made Peat gasp, scandalized at what he was told. He threw Boss a dirty look and reprimanded him using his eyes.

"In my defence, I was really scared that this time you won't be able to survive this and he was the first person I saw, I knew he had done some shitty things–" Peat continued to glare at his poor best friend, Boss sighed defeatedly. "Alright, I'm sorry, I should have not lashed at him like that." Peat could faintly hear

"I'll call in Doctor Beam and we'll talk with Fort," Noeul says. It was mostly directed to Boss but he made it sound that Peat was also a part of the receiver.
