Chapter 9 Ophelia's Birthday

"The black CEO is GENM'S Ex-Aid!?" Haima asked in a shocked tone after his son and Poppy revealed everything to him today. To think the CEO is the rogue Kamen Rider all this time when they fought him.

"Wrong." Hiiro denied. "The GENM's CEO is the black Ex-Aid." He corrected his father with a look.

"How dare he use us as test subjects!" Poppy yelled in anger and wouldn't forgive Kuroto's action. "He did say for the sake of making the ultimate game, but... geez!"

"It's pipopepopanic!" Poppy and Haima yelled in panic sync while sharing each other's surprised expressions.

"None of the other employees were involved in this incident." Kyoutarou pointed out while they called him for an urgent meeting about Kuroto's betrayal. "Dan Kuroto's disappearance corroborates that. As for matters concerning GENM Corporation, please leave it to us at the Health Ministry."

Hiiro realized something. "About Barron Ophelia—" He was cut off by the Secretary.

"We knew her abilities for a long time and kept it confidential." Kyoutarou explained. "We swore to William and Haruka not to leak this information for someone would abuse Ophelia's power. Somehow, Dan Kuroto found out about it." He understands them as parents to protect their children from harm.

"She won't use her healing right?" Poppy asked worriedly. "Ophie-chan can't cure everyone at once!"

"She won't and Ophelia knows that." Kyoutarou assured the pink-haired woman. "I know she's working in a different hospital. How is she?"

"Confused andworried" Hiiro answered truthfully and wouldn't forget the look she'd expressed. "We'll protect her." He vowed to protect Ophelia at all costs.

Kyoutarou nodded his head in understanding. "I think it would be best to move her job there to ensure her safety. We don't know what he will plan after finding out her abilities." He's worried about her well-being alone in the hospital without one or two Kamen Riders with her.

"Ophelia-chan keeps rejecting my offer." Haima pointed out and lost count of how much he asked.

"Try to convince her again and I'm sure she'll give in eventually." He nodded his head. "Oh, please tell her happy birthday and wish her all the best." Kyoutarou ends the call.

"Aaah!" Haima completely forgets Ophelia's birthday is the same day as Christmas day. "I can't believe it's her very special day! What should I do!?" He panics and Poppy panics too.

"Wah! I didn't know it was her birthday today! I don't even know what to buy for her gift!" Poppy yelled and didn't know what to give Ophelia.

Hiiro ignored them and left the office. 'I wouldn't be surprised if Ophelia forgot her birthday after everything happened.' He shoved his hand through his coat. 'She deserves to celebrate and hope Ophelia like my gift.'

"Achoo!" Ophelia suddenly sneezed after she finished her report. She couldn't help but feel like someone was talking behind her back.

"Happy birthday to you." Someone whispered close to her ear and Ophelia couldn't help but scream in shock.

"Aah!" Ophelia fell backward from her chair and groaned in pain. "Ow." She whimpered at the sudden fall.

"Wow, wasn't expecting that." Ophelia looked up to see Sakura and Kiriya are in the office.

"Kiriya!?" She was surprised to see him at her work and stood right next to Sakura.
