"DAMN." HE FRUSTRATEDLY combed his hair to the other side and grabbed his cigarette. He put it in between his bow-shaped pinkish lips, and with a flicker, the end of the cigarette glowed orange. The light reflected on his chinky eyes, making his bright blue iris turn golden.
He put the lighter down as he leaned back on his swivel chair. The chair creaked, and the smoke coming from his cigarette curled upwards, creating a hazy veil around him. Pinikit niya ang kanyang mga mata at bumuga ng usok.

He needs someone who can cook his nephew's favorite foods! Parati na lang itong nagce-cereal kapag hindi nito magustuhan ang nakahain sa mesa o 'di kaya pancakes!
Shaking his head, he inhaled, and the tip of his cigarette glowed brighter as if matching the burning frustration inside him. He pulled the cigarette out of his lips and grabbed the ash tray, pulling it towards him.
Binaba niya ang sigarilyo at inilapit iyon sa ash tray. The glow of the cigarette tip flickered as he slowly pushed it down on the ash tray, creating a sizzle that broke the silence. Kitang-kita niya ang unti-unting pagnipis ng usok habang nakatitig siya sa sigarilyo.
At ngayon, wala nang ibang nag-a-apply kasi puro inaayawan ng pamangkin niya. And he freaking needs a cook who can make Korean and Chinese foods. Fuck.
"Sir."
Napatingin siya sa pinto no'ng may kumatok doon. And after three knocks, it opened, revealing one of the servants dressed in comfortable clothes. As she walked towards him, he caught a glimpse of the piece of paper in her hands. Muntik nang tumaas ang kanyang kilay at may pag-asa ang bumangon sa puso niya.

Sumasakit na ang ulo niya sa kakaisip kung saan siya hahagilap ng cook na magugustuhan ng pamangkin niya. Kahit naman maayos ang pagkakaluto ng mga previous applicants, talagang inaayawan pa rin ng pamangkin niya at hindi niya alam kung bakit!

Wala itong kangiti-ngiti, and her upturned eyes which were framed by long and curly eyelashes and placed under rounded-shaped eyebrows were staring lifelessly at the camera.
Sobrang inosente ng mukha nito pero parang. . . mapanganib. There's something in her eyes that makes him feel like she holds a lot of mysteries and deep stories.
Still, he won't deny that she's beautiful. Her wavy brunette hair reaching her shoulders framed her round face perfectly. At mas nakadagdag sa ganda nito ang maliit na nunal sa baba ng mata nito.
His eyes moved towards her name, and the right corner of his lips curled upwards.
