Chapter Two

Kris was taking her cat for a late night walk. She walked past Freddy Fazbears, the restaurant she always passed when she would go for a walk, but this time it was different the sign was on and a car was in the parking lot. "Huh" Kris looked at the restaurant. "Let's go see what that is about, what you think" Kris said as she looked down at her cat. She walked towards the restaurant and went through a vent that was behind the building.

She opened the vent and looked at her cat. "Now, when we go in, stay close to me we don't know who is here, I will still be holding your leash." They both climbed in and the vent lead to the main dining room. She pushed the vent and dust flew around the fallen vent. Kris got out of the vent and grabbed James' leash to make sure he didn't wander off. Kris looked around and noticed the closed curtain on the main stage. She walked up the steps to the stage and peaked behind it to see nothing but darkness.

She sighs and reaches her hand out into the darkness, when she does she feels soft fleece material. She pulls back the curtain and it reveals a Bonnie animatronic. She looks up and she smiles. Bonnie had always been her favorite, partly because her father used to wear a bunny suit at the earlier location.

Kris gets off of the stage and decides to explore more. She walks down the hall and sees a small hue of blue, coming from the room, she goes in the room a notices that it is the security office. She looks around and sees a man sitting in the chair, asleep. James jumps onto the table with the security monitors on it. James sniffs the man and paws at his hair. "James, stop it" Kris says as she picks him up. "I didn't know they hired a new security guard" Kris thinks out loud. "Some professional" she says looking at his sleeping form.

After some more looking around Kris decides to leave but not before going back to the main stage. Kris draws back the curtain and sees the animatronics still there. She touches Freddy's arms and glides her hand on it. "Thanks for letting me experience this place again. And I'm sorry, that my father did those terrible things to all of you. Maybe I can come back a see you guys again, you know, to not feel so lonely." Kris says with a small and sad smile.

Kris knew about what her father did, she hates that he did it, she saw it with her own eyes. She wished that she could have done something to stop it, but she couldn't. She knows what he did with the bodies, hence why she was talking to the animatronics. Even though everything that happened she still loved her dad.

Kris and James make their way through the vent that they came through, Kris closing the vent as she leaves. Once they make it out of the restaurant and to the side walk, Kris looks back with a sigh. Looks back at the dark side walk and picks up her cat and puts him in her zip up jacket to keep him warm from the slight breeze that formed.

Kris walks into the apartment with a sigh. "And where have you been, Krisalyne May Afton" William says crossing his arms as he stands in the kitchen. Kris flinches at the sound of her full name and looks at him with a blank expression . "I went on my nightly walk and got distracted and stopped at Freddy's. Also you never told me you hired a new security guy." Kris says as she takes off her jacket.

"Krisalyne that does not concern you, you shouldn't even be going anywhere near that place." William says sternly. Kris rolls her eyes and walks towards her room. She opens the door and James runs in. As she is about to close the door she says, "He is a Schmidt, isn't he? You know a family member of the kid you kidnapped back in Nebraska." William doesn't respond and looks down at the floor. Kris scoffs "That's what I thought." Kris slams her bedroom door.
