Chapter five

Later that night Kris is on a late night walk to Freddy's this time without James, due to Kris not wanting for him to get lost in the big pizzeria.

When Kris gets to the pizzeria and enters through the back vent that she went through the first time she came to the pizzeria a few days prior. Once Kris exits out of the vent into the main dining area of the restaurant she went straight to the main stage. She climbed the steps and grabbed a flashlight out of the bag she brought and opened the curtain, she flashed the flashlight in the stage and she smiled to herself seeing the animatronics.

"Hey guys, I'm back, sorry I didn't come yesterday, I got upset with my dad so I didn't feel like going out, but I promise to stay longer today." Kris says moving the curtain more out of the way to see Bonnie, Freddy, Chica and her cupcake better. She smiled up at them she then looked off to the side to see Foxy's stage. She gets off of the main stage and goes to Foxy. She opens the curtain and smiles "We can't forget about you bud, now can we" Kris says smiling at the animatronic.

Kris moves to but a bag on a pile of chairs. While Kris has her back turned she hears a series of metal and mechanical parts moving. When she turns around she sees that all of the animatronics moved to a few feet in front of her. Kris looks at them shocked and in amazement. "Woah.." Kris says in slight fear. "I didn't know you all did that."

Kris tilts her head a little and smiles at sweet smile at them. This causes Freddy to come up to her and move his robotic arm up above Kris' head and move it down to gently pat Kris on the head. Kris smiles at them. She then has a realization. "This makes sense when my dad stuffed the kids in the suits, their spirits possessed the animatronics...." Kris thinks out loud as she looks up at Freddy with sad eyes and moves to hug his torso. Freddy's eyes show a soft expression and hugged Kris with the arm that he patted her head with.

Kris spent some time with all of the animatronics on the main stage. All of a sudden Kris hears a noise in the distance her head snaps into the direction. She looks back at all of the animatronics "Hide someone is coming." Kris says as she runs to grab her bag. She turns back to both stages to see the animatronics back in stage. She runs up to them and closes the curtains but not before saying bye and that she would come back later that night or the next day.

Kris hides next to the stage hiding in the shadows  on the way to her hiding she found a crowbar that she could use as a weapon if she needed. She stays hidden when she sees a small figure walking out of the bathroom and towards the stage. She peaks through the curtain and the animatronics come out of the stage to greet her. Kris was surprised that the figure wasn't scared.

Kris felt like it was safe to come out and see who it was, once Kris came out of the shadows the animatronics and the small figure turned towards her and the the figure went to hide behind Foxy. Once Kris can out of the shadows and into the light (or whatever light there was) the figure came out from behind the fox animatronic and smiled cheerfully.

"Kris!"the figure said. Kris now saw the figure more clearly and saw that it was Abby. Kris looked at the girl shocked "Abby what are you doing here, Where is your brother?" Kris asks confused and concerned. She might not have known Mike and Abby for a full 24 hours but she felt a sense of protectiveness over the girl.

"Mike is in his office, asleep, but I heard something so I went to see what it was then I found them" Abby says looking at the animatronics. Kris was just standing there trying to process what happened, when Abby grabs Kris hand and leads her towards the animatronics. "Come on, let's go play with them, they want to play" Abby says dragging Kris. Kris' eyes filled with tears at the thought of her younger sister dragging Kris to play with her.

After some time playing with the animatronics, Kris sat by the piles of chairs, smiling at all of them play. The animatronics then started to tickle Abby and both Abby and Kris started laughing. Then all of a sudden Kris hears a noise from down the hall. Kris hid behind the pile she was sitting at and she say Abby still out in the open "Abby, Abby" Kris tried to get her attention but another figure came into her vision. Her mind went to the worst case scenario. 'Her father was here'. So she grabbed the crowbar that she still had and was ready to run and strike her after when a familiar voice stopped her.

The voice belonged to, Mike, Kris stayed hidden to not be seen. Kris watched Mike while he was talking to Abby, she smiled to herself, she started to feel the same feeling that she felt back at her dad's work, but she shrugged it off.

When Abby and Mike were leaving Abby looked back to look for Kris. Kris peaked out from behind the chairs and gave Abby a small wave. Abby noticed this and waved back, then turned back to leave with Mike.

Once they left her sight she got out from her hiding spot and saw all of animatronics looking at her with a knowing look. "What?" Kris asked looking at all of them. Bonnie made a look towards the door and made an angry expression, to represent Mike. She crossed her arms and looked at the bunny. "What about him" Kris asked. Bonnie made another look at her that told Kris exactly what he meant. Kris rolled her eyes at him "Don't even go there Bonnie, I barely even know the guy." She looked at the blue bunny with a stern face, and she got a 'Are you sure about that" face back from him.

Kris sighed and grabbed her bag stood in front of the animatronics. "Well, I have to get going, before my dad finds me and kills me for being out so late." The animatronics look at her with a not so pleasant look on their faces. "Oh shit, sorry, forgot that killing and my dad in the same sentence is triggering, sorry won't happen again." Kris said nervously.

The animatronics looked at her with forgiveness and they opened their ares for hugs. Kris went to each one of them and gave them a hug, she even gave Foxy a hug, which was rare. And with that Kris left the pizzeria through the vent giving one last wave to her friends to which they waved back Kris smiled and closed the vent.
