She inserted the keys the door handle, and the shifted to the side, to allow him to enter.

'Thanks for your help' He dropped the heavy cuisines on the table.

How did this happen? Well, outside the supermarket, he approached her by calling her name, and after a bit of confusion on why Sunghoon, was following her, she finally got the answers to her questions.

He cleared his throat 'About that day, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. It was really out of touch, I'm sorry.' He apologized. Being in a happy mood already, Jennifer seemed a little surprised at first bur quickly forgave him 'It's fine. I didn't take it by heart,' she smiled. He always acted rude and all, but in the end wasn't an insensitive and careless person.

Sunghoon's face lit up with relief. He had been feeling guilty up till that moment, and was finally free to go 'Are you sure?' He asked one last time.
'100% sure. Besides, back then I was just startled by the question that's all.'
He nodded and as he was about to take his leave, he looked down, noticing the quite heavy sachets that she was holding. 'Do you need help with those?'

Jennifer hesitated for a moment before agreeing. She had a long day and having a little company, would actually be nice.

'Wait a moment' He quickly typed something on his phone, then shoved it back in to his pocked 'We are ready to go.' He flashed her a little smile, and took the blocks away from her, a thing that was new for Jennifer to see.
As they walked, because the house wasn't too far, they finally had a normal conversation, talking about their classes and what they had been up to lately.

'We understand how you feel...we grew up in a orphanage, without parents. Fortunately we met each other, and were able to overcome everything together.' The moment she heard orpanage being mentioned, she suddenly felt more connected to them that she has ever been with anyone else.

'I'm sorry to hear that, it must have been hard right? I grew up in an orphanage too, but I was unable to make friends. Fortunately Mrs. Joy a teacher, was nice to me, and with the time being we became closer' her face relaxed in a smile, as she felt happier talking about this topic. 'Sha has always been there for me, and I couldn't be more grateful to have someone that I can call family.'

The street was unusually quiet, and the sun was setting in the sky. The light cast a golden hue on their faces, making the atmosphere more calm, enhancing his beautiful features.

Jennifer couldn't help but feel happy and a little embarrassed at the same time. This was all new, Sunghooon being nice to her, helping her out and even walking her home. All things that normally wouldn't happened. Maybe Maybe they just started out with the wrong foot.

The reason why she was feeling a bit uncomfortable was mainly because she wasn't used to looking at him in the eyes eyes that long, as it was his way of showing that he was listening attentively to what she was saying.
Finally, they reached her house and she thanked Sunghooon for his help. She then offered him some food, but he politely declined, saying his brothers where waiting for him and had started cooking.

'Okay, maybe next time then, see you at school' She was feeling slightly disappointed, as she wanted to stay more with him, but was already grateful that he help her enough. 'Yeah, maybe next time. See you,' he waved goodbye and she watched him walk away until he disappeared around the corner. Her apartment was on the second floor, so as soon as he went down the stairs, he was out of her sight.

Jenifer smiled to herself, feeling an unfamiliar warmth and happiness that she had not felt in a long time. Warm temperatures, that didn't force her to wear a scarf, and hundreds shirt to prevent her from feeling cold, first she talked with with Mrs. Joy, and now the bad blood between the two was gone.

The day couldn't have gotten any better

She unpacked the food, that was inflicting a pleasant pleasant smell in the house. A silly thought crossed her mind, about how she was really owning up to her name, bringing her joy.
After everything was deposited in the fridge, she sat down on the couch looking at her phone.

Next time she was meeting the lady, she was definitely bringing a gift with her. She liked nature, flowers and Jennifer knew even her favorite color, basically most of what she liked, so It wouldn't have been too difficult to choose something. Her first salary was even coming up, so it would have been even nicer to get her something.

She checked her calendar, to see what she had for the next days. Her pay day was next week and, followed by a department dinner, with a reminder on Thursday to make sure to go and look for a dress. Then she scrolled onto the following week, 'girls out' was the key word, marking the end of her schedule, without counting the days of work.

She though back to the day the decided on organising them going out in the first place. Soojin and Jennifer where discussing in the lunch break, in the caffetteria, about something related to work. 'Girls, I have a news. I started working as a retail shop' She smiled joyfully.

She was a really extroverted person, so it was not new that her job had "constant interactions with people", what was surprising was her getting the job out of the blue.
'Wow, when are you starting?' Soojin was quicker to ask, while Jennifer gave the smily rabbit a small grin.

'This Tuersday.' She trew her hands in the air, explaining how she knew she was going to get the job after how the job interview went. 'Ah, by the way, why are you looking for a job? Your parents are millionaires right? Aren't there?' Jennfier raised her eyebrows, visibly surprised, by the student's president statement.

'You didn't know?' Soojin looked at her with almost the same astonish look 'Everyone at school at least once heard the rumors that her parents are multimillionaires that have a restaurant business. Oh right, I forgot you are new.' She shook her head after the realisation.

'Yeah, I know that, but I prefer saving up my own money to leave in my own apartment later on, it feels better...Jennfier did the same right? Soojin your parents are richer than mine. Jung Jihoon and Kim Taehee, own multiple investigations companies all over Korea, why not working as an intern there?' Jihan backfired.

The conversation seemed pretty innocent, but Jennfier could sense the little tension and that they were bickering about it.
'Because I prefer a place where executives directors don't favour me because of my parents you know?' She laughed slightly at her two friends actions, who stared at her confusedly.

'Girls, anyways we should celebrate our first salaries, What do you think?' Jihan cleared her throat and proposed.

'That sounds great. I'm in!' Soojin lifter her hand, agreeing to it. The two turned their heads toward the brunette, who was trying to take a bite from the rectangular omelette on her plate.
'Okay, me too. I don't think I will have something for that far.'
Her friends smile widened 'It's going to be soo fun!' Jihan jumped to her feat.

Jennifer never went out with friend before, but she was sure that the celebration would be just as fun as Jihan thought. She looked forward to getting together with her friends to commemorate one of her first milestone in life. Having a real job, and some friend to celebrate with.
