The sky was clear and there wasn't a single cloud In the airspace as Jennifer walked to the meeting place, excorted by Minyoung her team leader.

Jennifer fidgeted her ring with the strings of her shirt, trying to ignore the anxious flutter in her stomach. Among dozens of investigators in the sprawling Busan Investigations firm, she'd been selected for this. The whispers of a "special unit," an urban legend of a team dedicated to cases that were far too difficult for any normal investigator.

Today was her first meeting.

They entered a coffeee shop near the agency, a thing that surprised Jennifer. If it was so secret why talking in a public place?

'Good morning miss Minyoung' all of the employee said before bowing to her.

'Good morning' she bowed back. 'This is Jennifer a rookie in my team. She excorted me here as I forgot an umbrella. Luckily it's not raining.'
The more her leader spoke, the young lady at her side felt confused. That's when an employee nodded and told them to follow her to the "lost&found" box.

'Minyoung-nim, did you really forget an umbrella here? What about the meeting?' But the woman just flashed her a smile and turned to face forward. They were brought to a room where the employee bowed and left them alone.

The older woman went to the box that was on the left of the room and raised a book that was inside. It happened so quickly that Jennifer could only watch in awe, as a door appeared, and she scanned the agency pass she had in her neck, then her fingerprint.

The young woman followed after Minyoung as the door closed behind them. 'Every time we chose different keywords that we have to say in a phrase to be granted access' she spoke.

'Oh, that's why. The umbrella was part of it, right?' Her question as they entered a bigger room, while Minyoung nodded with a smile. 'You are smarter than I thought then.' She said. After a bit of walking, they found themselves in a room, where there was a giant table in the centre, with some figures already seated. 'This is our meeting place,' her executive director said. 'Good afternoon' she greeted trying to be formal, as they greeted back. 'Is she the new recruit?' A woman with long red orangish hair asked 'correct. She's Moon Jennifer. She's new in the agency and in my team now for almost 2 months'

'Is my pleasure to meet you all. I will try my best!' Jennifer bowed in front of everyone as they introduced themselves.

'And she's Yunjin.' Jennifer looked at her as her senior gave her a smile. It was a ginger girl. 'Nice to meet you. You know, your name is my second name.' After that she was introduced to the rest of the team members, they sat in their sits, assigning one for the new girl as well. They were a total of 8 people.

'Greeting!' Mr. Kim, the owner of their agency, made his grand entrance in the room for last, making the number of individuals in there to a 9.
'As today we have a new member, I'm going to explain how we work here'. He sat down and looked straight at her.

'My investigation agency is actually a cover up for our other activities. We are detectives that work on cases that are impossible for normal people to comprehend. It was a powerful name in the South Korea government that founded this project'
He explained 'We solve cases that are classified as Unresolvable. Cases that only a minority of the popularity is able to think that far ahead of'. There was a chilling atmosphere in the room when his words left his lips.

'We solve things that are out of the ordinary.' He said at last. "What does out of the ordinary actually mean here?" A thought that crossed her mind, and as soon as it did, she got an answer.

'Have you ever heard of vampires or werewolves?' Mr. Kim asked, as his entangled hands went under his chin. 'Yeah, stories as a kid,' Jennifer answered, getting a laugh by the man in return, that in a split second went back to a serious manner.
'That’s what we solve here' he said, his voice  like a tunder in a storm.

After the meeting ended, she went to the bus station while taking on the phone with the girls. Today, she had scheduled going to see Mrs. Joy if she finishes work in time and it ended up happening. 'How is your trip in Paris going?' Jennifer asked, finally hearing from them after such a long time 'It's going well. Even though I've been here a lot, I can't get tired of shopping' Soojin said.

'And the food is nice, can't get tired of it either' added Jihan. Their friend chuckle at hearing what their main concerns were.
They kept talking, until she got on the public transport that was going to take her to her destination. 'Girls I need an advice. Soon I'll be going to a birthday party, do you have any ideas of a gift I could bring?' The two felt silent for a while.

'You are going to a birthday party? We've been gone for only 3 days and you already have people trying to get their hands on your heart' Jihan commented dramatically.

'Let me guess...Is it Jake?' She asked. 'No, it must be Jungwon. Do you like him Jen?' Soojin replied. 'The guy from your agency right? The one Jen was talking so high o-' her classmate was abruptly interrupted. 'Okay, okay, I get it. Why are you two taking this so unseriously?' Jennifer asked 'And no, it's not him and no one else' she sighed, finally reaching her stop. 'Girls, I have to go see you later' she said 'Wait you didn't answer my-' and with their school presidents voice echoing in the background, she ended the call.

As she made her way through the mob of people, she noticed a familiar figure standing in front of a jewellery shop's display window.
'Sunghoon?' She said. If she hadn't paid attention enough, she wouldn't have noticed the slightest way he flinched. As in surprised he turned towards her.

When their eyes met, a sudden rush of happiness brust in his chest. 'Jennifer?' he eyed the girl as he stood still. 'What are you doing here?' They said at the same time facing each other.

'Never thought I'll meet you in this city' she chuckled as he awkwardly nodded slowly.

Noticing his strange behaviour, she frowned. 'I don't want to overstep, but is there something on your mind? You seem troubled.' She asked, tilting her head slightly, trying to read his mind.

'No, I'm fine, I was just immersed in my thoughts...I'm here because of an appointment, and you?' He asked, changing the subject. 'I am here to see someone too', a wide smile appeared across her face, while on his a frown appeared.

In that moment, she heard the bell ring across the town, and that prompted her to ckeck her watch and gasp in surprise. She was going to be late if she stayed there any further. 'Okay, I may get going, se you tomorrow Sung-' he grabbed her wrist, preventing her from going any further. She looked up confused as he diverted his gaze to the side. 'Would you mind...' he paused 'If we walk together? I have to go in that same direction,' he said almost in a whisper. 'Yes, sure!' She smiles brightly.

'So you come here often?' She asked while they waited for a stoplight to turn green. 'Not really. I just take a look at the shops. I heard they have nice clothes in this area' she chuckled seeing how happy his expression had turned, compared to his awkard and silent self of some minutes earlier. 'I see, shopping is really your thing', not even 5 seconds passed when he asked her the same question.

'Just like you, a person really special lives around here and I sometimes come by when I can. With university and work, we didn't have much time to meet,' she sighed. Her words left a burning feeling in the deep of his stomach, a feeling that made his skin itch in a bit of annoyance. Was she dating someone? Was this someone cuter than him? He shook his head, almost not believing what went through his mind...why were these his main thoughts?
