Jennifer, Jake, Jay and Sunghoon walked out of the quaint coffee shop, words filling the air as they strolled down the street, they couldn't help but notice a large crowd gathering in front of a grand theater.

Sunghoon noticed Jennifer looking at the people entering an exclusive place. He could tell she was curious and wanted to go in, but knew they couldn't. 'Hey, do you guys want to go in?' Sunghoon asked, gesturing towards the crowded building.'We can't just walk in, it looks like an exclusive play,' Jake replied, stating the obvious.
Sunghoon grinned mischievously, with a look that said 'Leave it to me,' and gestured them to follow him.

The three of them made their way, weaving through the storm of people, but as they approached the entrance, a tall man in suit and tie stopped them

'Excuse me, do you have tickets?' he asked sternly. Sunghoon stepped forward and put on his most charming gaze. A side Jennifer was surprised by. His confident and looks were enough to convince the man that everything he was saying was the truth, and so, after some minutes they were in.

The young woman couldn't believe the stunt Sunghoon alone was able to pull.
It was least to say that she was impressed.
As they walked into the theatre, the sounds of people talking were in their ears.

'This place is amazing!' Jennifer exclaimed, looking around at the lavish decorations and the well-dressed crowd.

As they walked to some empty seats, the guy she was thinking of not too long ago leaned over to Jennifer. 'See, I told you we could do it' he grinned.

Jennifer smiled at him. She couldn't wait for the play to begin; and as they settled in, the show started.
Jennifer was completely mesmerized by the performance, the actors on stage, their movements graceful, and their voices enchanting. It wasn't long before she forgot all her worries and was fully immersed in the story unfolding before her.

'Wow' as they walked out of the theatre, Jennifer couldn't stop gushing about the play and how much fun she had. Sunghoon and Jay exchanged a knowing smile, happy to have been able to cheer up. Jake joined, showing that he genuinely enjoyed the show.

By the time the play ended, it was getting dark outside. The four friends walked out of the theatre, discussing their favourite scenes. Jennifer couldn't hide the smile attached on her face, feeling grateful for the unexpected adventure that the boys had taken her on.

The play was even better than they had anticipated. The actors were superb, and the story was captivating, but pretty sad at first. It was about a guy who lost his true love and had to fight many enemies, including his own brother, to be reunited with her in the end, but there were even some funny moments. Eventually, he was united with her, making it a happy ending. 'Thank you Sunghoon for being able to make it happen' she joyfully smiled, beamimg with happiness, still thinking back at what he did. 'It's no big deal.' He shrugged nonchalantly.

'At least that was able to bring you a smiled, you were in a really bad mood before' Jay replied, giving her a playful smile. A think that made her laugh. 'Well, it definitely did' her eyes met his.
'I never thought Sunghoon was a good actor' Jake raised his eyebrows as Sunghoon's eyes sharpened. 'What do you mean? I've always been good at it' he sounded smug and too full of his self about his skill to be a joke, but if not for what she have saw earlier she definitely would have definitely doubted it.

For the second time that day, they started arguing. Jennifer looking at them couldn't help but chuckle. 'He's right though' they looked at her as she laughed. 'See? Someone on my side' Jake seemed proud. 'Yeah, I agree' Jay joined in teasing his friend further. 'You too Jay?' Sunghoon looked at him in disbelief.

Their laughter echoed in the air, while ice Prince stayed put, with his arms crossed while looking at the other side, feeling a little salty.

With all that talking they didn't notice that they were in front of her stop. She was going to take the bus. Jay tried a hundred of times to persuade her in being excorted with his car but she declined. She felt like they have already done a lot for her. 'Thank you, guys. Once again for today' She hugged them grateful as they all seemed a little perplexed, not expecting it. 'Anytime, Jennifer. We're always here for you,' Jake replied with a warm smile.

As they said their goodbyes and went their separate ways, Jennifer noticed that Sunghoon had left the pink box on the sits, where he sat down as soon as they arrived.

'Sunghoon you left-' she called out to them, who went away not even 2 minutes ago, but they were no where to be seen, not even their silhouette. They vanished into thin air.
Her eyes went to the spot where she found the box and saw that there was another thing there.
It was a black envelope...

"Invitation to the bloody birthday party." She read out loud. It was written on the outside. Jennifer had no idea it was their birthday soon.

The phrase, though, for some reason gave her chills. Maybe it was for the oddness or just the heavy atmosphere after reading it, that made her take a look around. The bus just seconds after her reading what was written, making her feel safer.

After settling into her seat, she opened the pink box, where she saw a piece of paper "for Jennifer". Her eyes that widened in surprise, soon softened, feeling touched by Sunghoon's gesture. Maybe he was too shy to give her by itself, or there where other reasons, but she felt happy knowing that he went out of his way to buy her a sweet treat...another odd thing was that in the box, there was the exact cake that she's been craving the whole day. Maybe it was his way to cheer her up.

That was her guess, because he didn't have any other motive to want to give her some sweets if not for helping her mood, but still...what coughed her by surprise was the accuracy of what she wanted.

After some time of thinking back at it, she closed the box and texted him

"Thank you for the cake. ㅇㅅㅇ"

As Jennifer gently put the pink carton pack aside, and took the black envelope, assuming it was for her too, she opened and read it.

It was an invitation to their birthday, which was in two weeks. She felt a mix of excitement and guilt for not knowing, but she couldn't wait to surprise them with a gift.

Soon, she arrived home, but Jennifer tried to shake off the unsettling feeling that there was something strange with the three boys. It was their sudden disappearance that threw her off.

Was there something she didn't know about? Like a hidden secret or something?

'What am I even thinking?' She shook her head at those silly thoughts, blaming it on just being tired and lost the track of time on how long they left her. But that lingering feeling remained there.

You're invited to our bloody birthday party.

"Sometimes, walking down the deadly path
Without fleeing from death itself
Can give rise to the most wondrous creation

We hope you will be able to come"
