Day 15

The next day, the girls couldn't attend school, for family matters. This is where Jennifer started feeling left out. They had powerful and rich families, not to mention how pretty Soojin and Jihan were.

She always noticed guys drooling over as she went over to them in the garden or at lunch.
She didn't feel jealous, but slowly started feeling not worthy to hang out with them.

They were going to be missing for some days or even weeks, and in this time, she was ready to spend it alone.
Today they had PE for two hours, and in between the lunch break.

Jennifer sigh as she sat down on the bleacher, in the stairs next to the athletic camp that had the basket courtyard in it. There were some boys playing, but she was too unfocused to notice that between them there were Sunghoon, Jay and Jake.

'Hey' A voice startled her, coming from a spot not too far from where she was seated. She raised her head slightly, staring at the guy in front of her.
He sat next to her without asking, as he starred at her worryingly.
'Is everything all right?' He was dressed with the school P.E uniform, the jacket slightly open and the black shirt underneath in full display.
He had just arrived, but he seemed to have already notice something off with her.

'Yeah, it's just that Soojin and Jihan are going to be gone for one week or two I think' She sighed. Honestly Jay was one of the least expected person she thought would approach her first.
After chatting for some more time, as the girls passing in front of them eyed her as hawks, he tried his best to convince Jennifer in spending the break with them.

'Like they are over there, it would be nice eating and talking together right?'
She nodded, slowly starting to change her mind, till when they were interrupted by a voice.

'Jay!' A girl screamed from afar as she approached them in a hurry.
'Mr. Chan is looking for you' She tried to catch her breath. 'The P.E teacher?' She nodded slightly. Jay looked at Jennifer then sighed.
The tall handsome guy got up, and before leaving he came a little closer to her.

'Wait here, I will be right back'
He talked not too loud, as she looked at him and the girl take off.
As she stared at his silhouette from behind, she realized once again that she was around gorgeous people and somehow started feeling insecure about her looks.

No need to say that in the end he didn't came back, maybe the thing he was called for required more time, as it seemed to not pass as quickly as the other days, and soon It was the last hour for the day...math.

The lession was coming to to end, but the teacher went on, with calling people at the black wall.
Luckyly for her, the bell rang before he could even think about Jennifer's name, as she slowly took her time to pack her books and put them in her bag.

Feeling down, she decided to go and take a piece of chocolate cake, a French brand that her mother use to buy when she was feeling sad. She didn't remember the last time she had it, as once she was stuck in the orphanage, she didn't even remember clearly what it looked like. The only thing she. remembered as day light, was the taste.

She entered different coffee shops, but none of them had it. It was her 5th one, and as she walked in, the delicious aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods filled her senses. She couldn't help but smile as she made her way to the display glass, this time she was sure she was going to find it.
