67) Waterpark.

Thomas' POV.

"Let's go on that one!" (Y/N) yelled as she started to run towards the biggest slide in the park.

"Are you sure? It's a bit high..." She turned round and put her hands on her hips.

"Is the big bad Thomas scared of heights?" I blushed a little and said,

"Maybe..." She laughed and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the slide.

"Grab a ring." She said as we reached the stairs. I picked up a double ring and we stared to climb the stairs. We talked about random things on the way up to get my mind off the heights. When we reached the top, there was one couple who were going before us. I heard them both scream as they went down the slide, the drop was literally almost vertical. I started to get all panicky when I felt (Y/N)'s fingers lock with mine. I calmed down.

"Next two!" The ride attendant yelled. I felt my chest flutter with nerves but I still stepped forward. (Y/N) sat in the front of the ring because she was lighter and also because I just didn't want to go first... "Three... Two..." The man was counting down.

"JUST GO ALREADY!"

"ONE!" He yelled as he pressed the button. Water flushed out the pipe behind us and we flew down the slide at speeds of I don't know what! We both screamed at the top of our voices and I felt (Y/N)'s hands grip onto my legs as my heart stopped with the rush of adrenaline. The ring eventually came to a slow stop and I painted for breath. After we took a second to compose ourselves we just burst out laughing.

"Did you like that?" She asked and I instantly replied with,

"NO!" We both started laughing as we left the slide. "Can we go on a more chilled slide now please?" I asked and (Y/N) nodded. We walked over to the wavy river and picked up single rings each. We floated round it, gently rocking on the waves. "This is more my kind of speed." (Y/N) laughed and pulled herself closer to me.

"Yeah, it means we get to spend more time relaxing together." We were the only people on the river at that moment and I leaned my head back on my ring and felt (Y/N) lock fingers again. "I love you so much Thomas." She whispered. I smiled and looked back at her.

"I love you too." I lifted her hand and kissed it gently. I wish we could've stayed in that moment forever.
