Ginny's POV.

Lunch had just finished and I was walking to my locked with my best friend Thomas. He stopped at a classroom to speak with his maths teacher.

"Come by later." I called back as I carried on walking. He gave me a little wave goodbye and went into the classroom. My locker wasn't that far but it was still a bit of a trek away. When I reached about half way, I noticed Daniel: a boy who I had loaned some money off a while ago - beginning to approach me. He seemed rather pissed. I thought it would've just been best to avoid eye contact but that failed miserably. As soon as he saw me he made a move, grabbing me by my backpack straps and shoving me into the wall.

"Afternoon bitch. So, I think you have some explaining to do." He spat.

"What are you talking about?"

"You know. Where the hell is my money!"

"I gave it back last week!"

"Not that I can recall." I shoved him backwards with all my strength, causing him to fall onto the floor. People underestimate my strength at times. I started to walk away, just wanting to completely avoid the prick. Just before I left though, I saw him pull his phone out of his pocket & send a few quick messages, although I just thought nothing of it. I got a bit further down the corridor and saw I was coming up on Jesse and Logan; two of Daniel's mates. They both stood in the middle of the corridor, blocking my way.

"Excuse me." I thought keeping my head down and just being relatively polite to them was the best way to keep them off my back. I just really couldn't be bothered with them.

"I think you've forgotten something Georgianna." Logan said, looking down on me.

"Never say my name again. Just let me past."

"Don't think so doll." Jesse added. He turned to Logan who simply grinned at me. I furrowed my eyebrows but let out a gasp of breath as I felt an arm wrap around my waist from behind, pinning my arms to my body. Followed closely by another hand reaching around and over my mouth before I was dragged into the cleaners cupboard just next to where I was. It was Daniel. He threw me onto the floor against the wall, winding me slightly. He then joined the other boys in the corner of the room to converse about something. I didn't bother listening. They weren't paying attention and I took the opportunity while I had the chance. I carefully and quickly and texted Thomas my location. Daniel turned round and I just about managed to get my phone back in my pocket without him noticing. Suddenly, he raised his fist and scrunched up his face. I knew what was coming so as soon as he brought it hammering down, I ducked causing him to punch the concrete wall with full force. He winced in pain but then left me to the other two. Jesse and Logan began kicking and punching me. I had never felt so vulnerable in my life and I had had a few fights in my time. A large bang brought me back. The guys stopped and I forced my eyes open to look. Stood in the doorway was Thomas.. My best friend had came to my rescue. He dragged each lad out one at a time and threw a couple of punches, sending them down in seconds.

"Don't any of you EVER touch her again." I heard him yell. I just stay laying on the floor. Thomas ran back in and picked me up bridal style. He helped me stand and started asking me multiple questions. "Are you okay?! Are you bad? How bad did they hurt you? Wha-"

"Thomas!" I interrupted. "I'm fine." He shook his head.

"You've sort of just been jumped by three hard lads, I would't say you're 'okay' really?"

"No, honestly Tom. I'm fine." He screwed up his face and picked me up bridal style before I could say anything else. He didn't let me argue, not that I particularly did in that situation.

"I'm taking you to the medical room." We left the cleaners cupboard and the lads had got up and left. I didn't care, I didn't want to see any of their faces again. "Look... I know your strong, and tough but... What if I hadn't got there til later? What if they had hurt you even more? Or differently?.."

"Hey, shh..." I whispered calmly cupping his cheek with one of my hands. "They didn't though did they? And you got there just in time-"

"But what if I hadn't... I would've been hitting my head for god knows how long."

"Why Tommy?.. Why does it matter?" He kept walking. "Thomas. Why did you put yourself before me? You know I'm stong and-"

"I didn't want to see someone I love get hurt in any way, shape or form." I froze for a second, feeling a chill run down my spine. Thomas turned the corner to the medical room but I told him to stop just before we went in.

"You... Love me?" His cheeks went bright red then pale white.

"Yeah..." I smiled. Not knowing how to respond, I simply pulled his face closer to my own as I leaned up to reach him. I connected our lips. It didn't last long at all but it still felt magical.

"You have no idea how long I've waited to do that." Thomas smiled back down at me. He carried me into the medical room and lay me down on the bed in the isolated room. He spoke to the nurse then turned back to me.

"Listen, you get better and then in a few days, me and you will go put and do something. Just the two of us."

"I like that." I smiled as he was dismissed by the nurse. A few days later I woke up at 8 am, Saturday morning to a knock on the front door. My parents were in work early so I was alone. I woke up and groggily walked down the stairs to open the door. Stood in the doorway, fully dressed and wide awake was Thomas. Deja vu. He was holding a red rose in one hand. "Thomas! What are you doing here so early? And is that for me?" I beamed, completely forgetting about my bed head, morning fresh image.

"Yes this is yours." He grinned. "I needed to get here as soon and early as possible to check you were okay. You are okay aren't you?" I let out a light laugh.

"Yes Tommy, I'm fine. I don't particularly fancy going anywhere today though..."

"That's fine." He said as he wrapped his arms around my waist, lifting me off the ground slightly. My arms mimicked his, snaking around his neck. I felt him dig his head into my neck, placing small ginger kisses along my neck. I invited him in and we just sat and cuddled up together all day long. I was so happy In had finally found someone who cared about me more than themselves. I love Thomas. Little did he know, but I always had.
