114) His 'Mate'. {Part 2}

(Y/N)'s POV.

Thomas seemed to be acting really weird as soon as we got out the car. He straight up out of nowhere kissed me in front of his friend then quickly locked our fingers after it as we walked round to join Simon. I'll admit, it did take me by surprise. I thought it was simply because I'd left him alone in the back seat. 

"Okay guys, calm down. Lets remember I'm still single over here..." Simon groaned. I smiled into the kiss as a silent laugh left my lungs. I pulled away from Thomas and looked across to Simon.

"Oh really?" I mocked. "Would never have guessed?" He picked up on the sarcasm in my voice.

"Oi, you watch your mouth madam." I couldn't help but laugh. At that moment Thomas grabbed my hand and locked our fingers. I was rather surprised by it but I didn't complain. The three of us trekked around the shopping centre. We spent some time in JD, Hollister, Primark. All them kinds of places. I began to feel the sense of tension (which appeared as soon as Thomas kissed me) die down a bit. We were all having a fun time.

"Guys, I'm hungry." I groaned at the boys.

"Where should we go to eat? Fancy somewhere small like KFC?" Thomas asked.

"Not really..."

"Hey! There's a Nandos down there! How about we go there instead?" Simon suggested cheerfully.

"Mmm Nandos, brilliant idea!" Thomas shot a quick glare at Simon. He didn't notice, but I did. I didn't understand why he was being so edgy? We arrived at the restaurant and found a table. Five minutes chilling and Simon piped up.

"I'm going to order. Want me to get yours while I'm up there?" We nodded a response and told him our orders, along with our drinks. We were sat in a booth, all relatively spaced out. Thomas scooched around to sit next to me. His breath was a bit shaky.

"(Y/N)..." He said, really quietly.

"Yes Tommy? What's wrong? You haven't been yourself this whole trip." I noticed him take a deep breath as he readied himself to speak.

"Do you love me?" I felt rather drawn back by his question.

"Of course I do lovely, why would you ask me that though?"

"It's just... I've been feeling rather doubtful."

"Why?" He paused for a second.

"What did you and Simon speak about while I was asleep?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "When he said 'maybe now we can have a proper conversation?' I'm sorry I was listening in, but that was all I heard."

"Well, what do you think we were talking about?" I teased.

"I don't know... I just feel like it was something negative on my side? Like... Your not thinking about m as much..." It took almost all of my strength to hold it back but I simply couldn't, I burst out into a fit of laughter; banging on the table in the middle of the restaurant. Once I'd calmed down, I looked back up at a confused Thomas. "Wh-what was so funny?.."

"You thought I was cheating on you? With him?" I pointed over at Simon who had just reached the till while I wiped a tear from my eye.

"Well... In all honesty, yes. Yes I did think that because I was kind of getting excluded during the journey and shit." I giggled lightly and wrapped my arms around Thomas' neck; engulfing him in a huge hug: restricted by the table slightly. By then, Simon had made his way back with the drinks.

"Alright love birds..." He said as he placed the drinks down. "Thomas, you look happier?"

"Yeah, just a bit." He huffed. "Why did you go all cockey when Simon said he was single earlier then?" Simon looked confused but we just left him out of this part.

"I... Can't say."

"Well I feel left out and unwanted at the moment." He ended with a nervous laugh. "I'm going to the toilet. Finish your secretive conversation by the time I get back." He smiled and left us alone again. 

"Can you say now?" I waited until he was out of view.

"Okay, I'm going to try to set him up with one of my close mates, Hannah. {A/N-I had to, I'm sorry} I think they would just be so cute! Simon doesn't know yet though so don't tell him! That's what we were talking about while you were asleep; how long me and you have been together for and how long Si has been single for. I just felt bad for him and I know my friend is kind of in an ish desperate state." The sigh of air that left Thomas' mouth when I finished telling him was immense.

"Well that's a relief!" We just laughed it off. Not long later Simon came back and I started showing off my friends Instagram to him. I made sure he followed her and told her to keep an eye out on her DM's. The waiter came over with our food and while Simon was speaking to him, I turned to Thomas.

"I think I like your jealous side." He blushed rather noticeable but I just placed a short and sweet kiss on his cheek.
