elena's pov
now we've announced the song's release date, my calendar has got a lot more busy so i'm trying to enjoy my last few days of downtime. "do you want to go out for dinner tonight?" george asks me as we're laying on the sofa. "yeah sure" i look up and smile at him. "where do you wanna go?" i ask him and we settle on a new italian restaurant that has opened down the road from us.
i get up and start getting ready for the night, showering and doing my hair and makeup. half way through, george comes in. "jesus, how long does it take you?" he jokes. "well unlike you i can't just slip on a top and jeans and call it a day" i shrug. "yeah well why not, you'd still look great anyways" i look up at george standing behind me through the mirror, blushing slightly. compliments were rare between us as we normally cringe ourselves out but that almost makes them more special. i smile at him and carry on what i'm doing and he sits on the bed and waits for me to finish.
