"you came out of the blue like that"
elena has just come out of the most toxic relationship of her life and as she's recovering, she meets george at an influencer event but what happens when he also befriends her brother and the 3 of them live toge...
"did you see we got papped?" i turn my phone to george, both of us laughing. "how the fuck do paris paparazzi know who we are?" he says laughing as he does the buttons on his shirt. we were currently in the hotel getting ready to go out for a fancy dinner george had kindly booked. "well i am a number one artist" i smirk as i walk past george to the wardrobe. "yeah, you never fail to remind me" he rolls his eyes and pecks my lips.
thankfully, i had packed a nice enough outfit because we turn up and everyone's dressed up very well. "booking for clarke" george says as we approach the waiter.
he leads us over to our table and we have the most perfect view of the eiffel tower. my jaw drops and i look over at george and he is equally as shocked. "i asked for a nice view but i didn't expect this" he says as we both take our seats. i flick through menu and we both use our (bad) french accents to try pronounce the dishes but fail. whilst we wait for the food to arrive, we take photos with the view like the tourists we are.
the food arrives and it looks even better than i expected. we finish up the food and the bill comes. "i'll get it, you've paid for everything else" i say but george grabs the bill before i can. "no i'll get it!" he says and then takes one look at the price. "do you know what, that's a really kind offer i'd love to accept" he says jokingly. i go to grab my bag and he grabs my hand. "no, i'm joking it's my present to you, i'll get it but you owe me a maccies or something when we land." he winks and i roll my eyes.
we spend the next few days doing all the touristy things, eating all the best food and just spending quality, relaxed time together.
