Unlike the Spring: Hydrangea

My eyes paused on you and skim sole again
And never in my wildest dreams I dreamt
My nerve in havoc, calloused blood in vein
Ached in my arms but your hands never left

All those sweet flowers, I was beyond wrecked
You loved all my thorns, a strange kind of care
The feeble roots you watered, I was scared
That you will leave now and I'll be nowhere

I've bitten the sun now, I fear nightmare
I'm just a stone, love, in your milkyway
I had lost my soul once but you knew where
You crying kissed my heart, I'm no more grey

You made me more than some skin, flesh and bones
No stars I'd pray for but you, my cosmos.
