Never have I ever thought of a day
When I will leave you broken and detached
Would've grieved with tears but they're not in the way
My tears are burnt now and my heart ice-wrapped
Never have I ever felt this much grey
Don't call me sunshine, I've lost all my blaze
I lie down in this pyre as our love decay
You knew me the most, at least in my faith
Never have I ever thought you'd hurt me
Can't cut myself to again fill your gaps
Smiles, laughter lie, my sugar sundry sea
I'd miss our troubles and the fun we had
Never have I ever been this distant
I left 'cause I couldn't take another stab
The hailstorm in which we drenched, hand in hand
I thought we'd be fine, I was wrong about that
