"Hello?"I said as I finally called deyjah hoping that I wasn't still blocked but to my surprise she picked up.
"Im so sorry y/n I didn't mean for you to find out like this..."She said immediately blurting out her thoughts.
" So it's true? thats why you broke up with me?"I asked rubbing my face.A part of me didn't want to believe he was mine.But apart of me also knew...Im just scared i cant be a good father.
"Yes i knew your basketball career was just jumping off and you told me you didn't want kids i didnt want to ruin that for you."She said as I could tell she was crying.
"I woulda quit all of that to take care of my son dey you know that..."I said running my hands through my hair as so many thoughts ran through my mind.
"Thats why i didnt want to tell you im so sorry y/n..."She said as we say on the phone in a comfortable silence before i spoke up.
"His name?"I asked lowly.
"Amir...your-"
"Brothers name..."I said cutting her off I as thought about my best friend who i looked at as my brother.He had passed away in a car wreck a few years back I was in the car with him but somehow I survived.
"You in town?"I asked as I heard babbles in the background I'm guessing from him.
"Yeah."She said
"Can i meet him?"I asked
"Of course."She said as we wrapped up the conversation and i sent her and her parents the address.I walked down stairs to see my mom feeding the twins while Ma helped blue with her project.
"Y/n!"Blue said making my presence known running towards me as I picked her up.
"Hey babyblue"I said tickling her as she laughed.I put her down as I went and sat down at the table after acknowledging the twins and kissing their forehead.I looked towards my mama seeing she still had a mad face but not as much as she had earlier.
"Did you call her?"Ma said
"She's on the way."I said as I picked up sir knowing mama wouldn't hit me if he was in my arms.
"What she say?"Mama asked
"Everything that was in the media regarding me was true."I said
"So he's yours?"Mama asked
"Yes ma'am."I said as she shook her head.
"You know what im not even mad nomore y/n you made your bed you got to lay in it im just disappointed because we've had this conversation with you multiple times and you chose not to listen to anything we say what you think we just talking for our health? Hmm? Cause we tell you everything else and you still don't listen its giving you don't give a damn about what we tell you."Mama said as I started feeling bad I rather she'd be mad at me.My feelings lowkey was hurt now.
"Do you think he's yours?"Ma asked
"I don't know."I said
"Y/n that lil boy look just like you."Ma said looking at me fully.
"Yes.I know he's mine ma."I said lowly.
"Good cause since she's on the way your gonna do nothing if it don't involve him with her consent."Mama said
"But ma-"I started
"Y/n your gonna take care of that baby.I don't care about basketball,them designer clothes,them shoes, that car, nothing everything from this point on goes to him you about to be grown its not about you nomore we'll help here and there but as far as you wants they all go to him so them new jordans I just bought we taking them back and getting him 3 pairs of shoes in exchange."Ma said as I groaned i really wanted them shoes.But i got where they were coming from.
"You understand?"Mama said
"Yes ma'am"I said shaking my head as the doorbell rung I gave her sir before going to open the door.
"Mr and Mrs Harris."I said gretting them as T.I eyed me up and down and walked in tiny followed giving me a side hug before coming in.
"Hey y/n long time no see...im sorry for his behavior he still mad deyjah not a virgin no more."She said as I nodded awkwardly.
"Yeah I understand."I said rubbing the back of my head wondering where deyjah and amir were.
"Deyjah's mom and her are both still in the car they might need help.She said as My parents came to the door and greeted the both of them as I walked out the door.
"Hey mama."I said happily as Ms.Niko turned around and saw me.I hadn't seen her in so long but she was still like a third mama to me.
"Y/n my baby i missed you."She said as we hugged.We let go and I looked at deyjah who looked down. I'm guessing ms.niko caught the drift so she walked away towards the house.
"Deyjah."I said
"Y/n."She said as we stood there in the sun awkwardly.Though it was cold outside in texas the sun was still out shining .
"You need help?" I started seeing as though the door was open.
"Um yeah."She said as I grabbed the diaper bag and the car seat which was covered.
I walked back towards the house with Deyjah as we walked to living room to see all of our parents conversing and I'm assuming waiting on us.
"I set the diaper bag on the floor beside me before gently setting the carseat on couch.I looked at Deyjah for confirmation before I went to take the carseat cover off asking if I could pick him up.She gave me a reassuring nod before it seemed like the room was quiet.I as unzipped the cover.
I saw him and my body filled with all kinds of emotions i let out a breath I didn't know i was holding.I looked at him looking back up at me and he smiled showing only his gums as i un buckled him.He looked just like me.I smiled back not even noticing as i picked him up.I forgot about everyone else in the room as I instantly fell inlove with my son.I knew he was mines for sure now not that i had any doubt.
"Wassup lil man?"I said as he grabbed my face laughing and drooling.
"Im your dad."I said grabbing his hand before holding him upright as i felt him relax inside my arms.
