"We never had a true conversation concerning your actions, Raiya." Reyes tells me as we walk into her office, and I don't bother to sit down.

"Which ones?" I grin, and she glares at me, going through her desk drawers. She's looking for something.

"You tried to use your powers on me, Raiya. You injured me. I know the control you have over your powers, and I know that you could have killed me had I not stopped you. You do realize that, right? You could have killed me."

"I know." The grin has been wiped off my face, and I watch her carefully. "And I know I would have if you hadn't put that collar on my neck."

"Well, now..." Reyes keeps her hands behind her back as she approaches me, and I stand up. "My superiors have not permitted me to dispose of you, but I can do whatever I think necessary to get you to comply. Right now, you have a choice Raiya." I begin to back up, not daring to turn my back on her. "You can either willingly come with me, or we'll have to do it the difficult way. Neither of us want that, now, do we?"

"What the hell are you talking about?" I glance back at her office door, which slams shut when I get a few feet away from it. Before I know it, she's in front of me and has grabbed my hands. I try to pull them back, but she keeps my wrists together using a zip-tie and starts dragging me down a hidden hallway. She even uses her force fields behind me to keep me walking down the dark hall, one of her hands secured onto my arm and the other on the top of my head. "Are you kidding me?"

"Oh, Raiya." She sighs. "Do you think I want to do this? You aren't the only one I need to hurt tonight. You aren't. I wouldn't need to hurt you if you would just listen to me, but you won't do that, so now I have to do this!" A door opens to reveal a small, dark room, and she shoves me into it.

"I'm not dying in here." I tell her, and as I try running out she slams the door shut in my face. I can hear the heavy locks close, and my heart drops as my voice raises. "Do you hear me? Do you understand? I'm not dying in here! I'm not dying in here!"

But Reyes isn't outside of the door anymore. I can hear her heels clicking down the hallway, and I hit my hands against the door until they bruise. When I turn my back to the door and my shoulders brush the walls on either side of me, I realize just how small this room I'm trapped in is. My heart begins to pound in my chest, my breathing picking up.

Fuck. Shit! No, no, no, no, no, no, no...no. No! How did I let this happen? Why would I ever let this happen? How could I be so stupid?
