"Charlie, ma Cherie! I haven't seen you in years!"

The demon princess, who had just opened the door, seemed taken aback for a moment, but she recognised your voice after a few seconds of thought. "Nan! I didn't recognise you for a moment! It's nice to see you again!"

"Thank you amour! Please don't call me Nan, ma chou, it makes me feel old," you beamed.

"Of course! I'll just call you Y/N then. So, why the sudden visit?" Charlie asked, admitting you to the entrance hall of the slightly disheveled looking hotel.

"Well, I heard from your father about your little project, so I thought, why not help my chou chou out and help run the hotel? Having an overlord on your team doesn't hurt."

"Oh! That would be so helpful! Thank you Na- I mean Y/N," the snow blonde quickly corrected herself.

"No problem, ma Cherie, no problem," you pat her head lightly, "So! Why not introduce me to the others!"

Charlie led you to the lounge area, where a moth sinner demon with ghostly white hair and grey skin as well as a white and pink spider sinner demon sat. You knew the spider demon by reputation, but not the moth girl. "Y/N, this is my girlfriend Vaggie and our first patient, Angel Dust! Vaggie, Angel, this is my old babysitter and one of the overlords of Hell, Y/N!"

"Bonjour mon chous! Pleased to meet you! I'm going to be helping with the hotel from now on!" you greet the two. The spider demon, Angel Dust, waved lazily and winked while Vaggie contended with a faint, strained smile. "My, my, it's quite a mess around here!" you stated, noticing your surroundings. With a wave of your hand, most of the dust vanished, and most the appliances adjusted themselves. "I apologise, mon Cheries, I've never been the best at household magic, to be honest."

"It's fine! At least it isn't so messy anymore," Charlie said, rushing to grab a room key from behind the front desk, "You'll be staying here, right?"

"Yes, of course!" you responded, waving your hand once more to somewhat straighten the curtains. "There! Room 303! Feel free to decorate however you like!"

"Merci, dear belle, I'll check it out a bit later."

"No need to thank me! It's the least I could do!" Charlie handed you the pale red key.

You placed the key in one of your many coat pockets. You wore a salmon colored trench coat, and underneath a red tutu with gold embellishments and blue gems on the hem and chest. (A/N kind of like the on the cover but the skirt part is slightly longer.) You also wore pale peach tights and ruby red en pointe shoes. The trench coat went a little past your knees, and was adorned with dozens of pockets, both inside and outside, fastened with large black buttons.

"Well Charlie, where shall we start, ma lapin?"(lapin is French for rabbit) you asked, buttoning the pocket shut. "Well, we have an interview with Katie Killjoy on the 666 News Station next Tuesday, and Vaggie's been helping me practice, but it would be amazing if you could take a look at the speech too," the princess enthused, shoving the speech into your hands. Your eyes skimmed over it and you thought for a bit. "Well, it's a great speech, it has a lot of passion in it, and I'm sure it will do nicely, but do you have a backup plan? Remember Cherie, this is Hell. Demons tend to show quite a bit of... Skepticism."

"Yes! Of course I have a backup plan!" Charlie beamed.

Vaggie groaned, "You're not singing"

A/N:

Short chapter, sorry!!

I didn't write this is in one sitting, so there are parts where the story kind of seems to droop a little.
