The End?

Flamingo return in his universe, he appeared back in his room. He felt happy, He was about to take a warm bath until
"Flamingo are you in there!?" Jake shouted behind the door.
He open the door, Jake was there wearing a suit,
it was the same suit he wore to Denis funeral....
"Get ready, Temp is coming in an hour"
Flamingo eyes widen in surprise
"Temp! Oh sh- I'll get ready in a sec"
Flamingo shut the door
He quickly change his clothes, he pick a shirt, it was a button down with flowers on it.
He put his cowboy hat and put his overall
He look at his mirror
"Not bad"
He went downstairs, Jake was in the kitchen.
"Finally....Flamingo serve a plate for Temp"
He nodded and serve a dish with steak and vegetables on the side.
Temp hasn't visit them in years now, he only ever comes by to deliver a package
The door knock
Jake opened the door, It was Temp, He look the same way he did before.
"Hey Flim...Hey Jake" He said the last sentence bitterly, Temp and Jake never really got along but they don't always argue either.
Flamingo gave him the plate and sat next to him
They all sat down and ate in silence
Temp look up at Jake
"so where's Kaden...?"
Flamingo jump up at the mention of his name,
"Kaden left...he lives somewhere else now."
"I know that but where is he?" Temp question
"At some Barn....is that all you came for?"
Temp was silence and went back to eating
Jake roll his eyes
They were silent again until Temp spoke
"So, what have you been up to Jake? I haven't seen you in ages."
"Not much..I been working on the portal."
Temp stared at him in shock, is jaw dropped trying to process his words
"The porta- what....But Denis is...he's dead, their isn't any point in making that portal again"
Flamingo was confused
"What- Temp knows about the portal!?"
Jake sighed and nodded
"Yeah...Denis told him before me, Temp was the one who build it."
They were silent
Temp eyes soften and he put his fork down.
"There isn't any point in making the portal work...we need one more blood from another universe, and friendly reminder! None of us have the ability to travel"
Flamingo looked away, Temp doesn't know about his ability and it was best not telling him.
Jake slam his fist on the table
Temp didn't flinch, his face was serious and his mouth was a thin line.
" I know! This isn't about Denis,I'm making this portal just so I can forget him..."
"Sounds like this is about him..." Temp whisper
Jake glare at him
"Look...no one knows about Denis and me...you know, and..I just want that stupid portal gone just so I could forget him"
Flamingo was surprised
Temp got up
"Jake, You need to move on, you can't keep doing this. I don't even know why I came here"
He left the kitchen, Jake and Flamingo sat there, they heard the door slammed shut
Jake rubbed his temples and closed his eyes
"Why can't everyone just understand"
Flamingo look at him
"Jake...what did Temp mean about blood?.."
Jake bit his lips and his leg started to bounce
"Well when we built the portal, it didn't work...Denis had an idea and suggested using blood, he would travel through the universe to kill alternate versions...and it work but we need one more blood"
Flamingo turn red and look disappointed
"Denis wouldn't do that...."
Jake frown and lift his chin up to make eye contact
"I'm sorry...but Denis isn't a good person, here take this..." He gave Flamingo a journal
"This was Denis..it has all his notes and what he did" Jake spoke softly
Flamingo held the journal and he was silent
He felt sick, his body was shaking and his mind was spinning.
He didn't look at Jake, He didn't want him to see the pain and betrayal in his eyes
He open the journal and read pages and pages, Jake watch Flamingo expression turn to disgust and horror.
"Denis- Why did he do this..."
Jake looked at the journal and back at Flamingo
"He...He wasn't in the right mindset...He made mistakes and neglected us but we never bother to call him out for it"
Flamingo closed the book
His head was down
"You're lying"
Jake raised his eyebrow
"What?.."
Flamingo gripped his hands on the table, his knuckles were white
"Denis, he would never hurt anyone, he never neglected us! Your wrong !"
Jake shut his eyes, his face was emotionless
"Your blinded by love, Flamingo...He isn't perfect, He had his flaws"
Flamingo felt his eye sting, his breath was shaking
"Shut up! Your- fuck I wish you were lying..."
He went upstairs and lock himself in his room
He put on his jacket and turn on his watch

Denis was drawing in his journal, he was sitting on the bench waiting for Flamingo, they were supposed to meet up.
"Denis!" Flamingo appeared out of nowhere and was surrounded by a glowing blue fade which quickly went away
"FLAMINGO!? Dude you scared me" he jump up startle
Flamingo didn't reply
his hair was a mess, his shirt was unbutton and his pants were baggy, his face was puffy and his eyes were red.
"Flamingo...what happened! Here sit down"
Flamingo shrugged and sat next to him
"I-I found out secrets about you...your other you"
He gave Denis a journal, it was covered in dust and had some pages sticking out. Denis eyes widen when he saw his name written on the front...this was his alternate self journal
"This is my journal...from another universe?"
Flamingo nodded
"You wrote some things there...things that aren't good"
Denis was quiet
He flip through the pages
He read about his experiments and his journey.
His chest felt tight, he felt guilty
Flamingo watched him and lean against his shoulder
Denis didn't move
He read more and more, he killed peoples, had affair and even manipulated his friends.
Denis close the book and place it on his lap.
He sigh
"Flamingo...I'm sorry...for everything he done and did"
He turned to face Flamingo
"I'm not him...and I wouldn't lie to you"
Flamingo smile
"Yeah I know....but turns out Jake is working on this portal...Denis portal"
Denis perked up in interest
"A portal..?"
Flamingo nodded
"Yeah it supposed to make universe merge and become one"
"But wouldn't that break Shapestar rules?"
Flamingo looked at him confused
"Shapestar..? Who-"
"Your Denis wrote something about Shapestar! I know them as well from the books I read in history class"
Denis tap his finger on the journal
"They're supposed to be the god of the universe! They control the storyline and watch over their creation"
Denis thought for a moment
Flamingo was quite
"So they are real...do you think Shapestar would notice the change?"
"Well yeah! The entire universe will be effect and the timeline will be changed"
Flamingo hummed
"Denis...I kinda changed the storyline here..."
Denis looks at him eye wide
"What!? What did you change?"
Flamingo fidget with his zipper
"You were supposed to date Sub but I kinda changed that...and then you guys were supposed to break up and have some heartwarming reunion"
Flamingo smiled nervously, Denis jaw dropped and his eyes were widen
"Sub and I were supposed dating?..Wow"
Flamingo nod
they sat in silence
"Omg Sub...really!? Now I can see why I felt a connection with him whenever we hold hands"
Denis whisper, he was trying to process this information.
"So Shapestar....who are they?" Flamingo ask
Denis cleared his throat getting ready to tell a story
"A long...long...LONG! Time ago there was a boy, he had an ability to travel through universe along with his other friend, he enjoyed his power and would always travel and meet his alternate selfs, but one day he stumbled upon a universe..."
Denis look up at the cloudy sky
"He fell in love...they bonded and talked everyday, he visited his lover and would tell him about his power and what he had seen. But something unfortunate happened..."
"What happened!?" Flamingo ask
"He went back with his other friend, they all realized that the universe has been collapsing, they had no clue how it happened but they were scared...so they decided to give up their life they had and the four of them merged creating a god"
Flamingo was shock and then frown
"What about the boy he loved?..."
Denis shook his head
"He had to leave him behind, he left all his friends and family behind"
Denis sighed and rub his neck
"Shapestar is a fusion of four people, they all created a job with their ability, one had the power to travel through universe, the other had an ability to make illusions and the list goes on..."
Flamingo look down and fidget with his hands
"...He left someone he loved behind..and he even left his family behind, does he regret it..?"
Denis smiled and shook his head
"I don't think he does...they made the right choice and the universe was saved because of their actions. Plus...Shapestar is more than one person, all their emotions become one"
Flamingo looked around, the people were walking by, the birds were chirping and he realized that Shapestar saved this universe and his world as well,
"Denis..if I help Jake make the universe merge, do you think it will be a bad decision? Will that make the universe collapse?"
Denis thought for a minute
"No..I don't think so but you might have to make a deal with Shapestar..they are really scary, plus the story isn't the same as it used to be"
Flamingo let out a sigh
"I'll help Jake build the portal...but I need blood, and I am not killing someone..that gross" Flamingo rubbed his forehead
"You can use my blood...?"
Flamingo turns to him and chuckles
"Seriously?"
Denis shrug
Flamingo laugh
"Thanks..Denis"
"You're welcome..Flamingo"
"Hey, Denis..do- what will happen to you and your friends if we made the universe fused..?"
Denis look away for a second
"We would lose our memories..."
Flamingo eyes widen
"That means you'll forget me...?"
Denis hand tightened into a fist and nodded
"But don't worry,We still could be friend..just do your Flamingo charm" Denis joke and wink
Flamingo chuckled and hug him
Denis felt his warm tears fall down his cheek, he wipe his eyes and pull away from the hug
"So you're ready to take blood" Denis said mocking a vampire, they laughed and Flamingo pulled out a tiny bottle. He grabbed Denis hand
"This won't hurt"
Flamingo stabbed his wrist and a droplet of blood fell into the tiny bottle, he then press a cotton ball on his wrist and put tape around his arm.
Denis whine but soon felt relief when Flamingo banged him up
"You had all that in your pocket!? The hell-"
"I literally live in a zombie apocalypse! Of course am going to be carrying this stuff" Flamingo smirk
Denis examined his arms and smiled
"Well you better get going and start that portal!"
Flamingo stood up and hesitated
They lock eyes and Flamingo hugged him
"How are you sure we will still be friends..?"
Denis smile and hug back
"Am not sure but...here- if you give this to me then am sure we would become friends" Denis hand him a bow tie it was yellow and small, it was for his cat
"This..will make us friends again?"
Denis laugh and nodded
"Sirmeowsalot lose his bow all the time, if you give this to me then I am certain that we will become friends again!"
Flamingo grin and place the bow tie in his pocket
"Thanks Denis, I'll miss you!"
"Don't worry! Am not leaving just yet, plus you can visit me"
Flamingo laughed and nodded
"Yea ..for sure-" Flamingo teleported back to his universe leaving his old life behind.

Jake jump up at the sudden sounds, he turn around and saw Flamingo collapse against the wall and panting , he took a deep breath and wave a bottle that was full of blood.
"What- where the hell did you get that!?!"
Jake was baffled
"Doesn't matter...Let's get this portal up and running"
Flamingo put the bottle in the portal, the portal lit up and the gems started to spin around and the machine was on, Jake stare at it in awe. Denis creation was working and everything was bright, it was plain white everything was shaking and once Flamingo open his eyes. He saw something that was so beautiful, the zombie were gone and the empty dirty houses were now build and full of people outside, he saw alternate versions of all his friends talking, walking and playing. Jake was in shock and smile, he's finally moving on and letting Denis go.
He saw Temp, who was smiling and laughing, his hand was holding a box, he looked happier and had a better haircut.
Temp eyes met Flamingos, he smile and walked up to him
"Hi Temp!"
"Hey Jake and Flamingo! By the way we're having a garage sale!" Temp was walking side to side by an other version of Flamingo, he was wearing a hoodie and his cowboy hat was a fancy hat instead
"Howdy Neighbor" He said waving at flamingo
Jake smile And wave
"Wait- no one remember?" Jake ask
Flamingo shook his head
"Nope! I gotta get going I'll be back"
He ran towards the bus stop, he had to see Denis, his friend
The bus stop in front of him, he hop on and went upstairs, the bus was full of people
He sat on the seat, he look out the window, he felt nervous and excited

Denis was laughing with Skoop, they were on their lunch break. He never felt this before, he felt happy
"So how's Dennis?" He ask
Skoopy smile
"He's okay, just adjusting to the new neighborhood! Anyways I gotta go pick him up, he hates being pick up late" Skoopy snickers
Denis smiled and nodded
"Like father and son, tell him I said hi"
"Will do!" Skoopy went to his car and drove off.
Everything was quiet and peaceful, things couldn't be better
"Howdy!"
He turned around and saw a cowboy with overall
"Oh- umm hey?" He shifted in his seat uncomfortable, the guy sat next to him and stare at the sunset
"I think you drop this" He handed Denis a bow tie
"Omg! Thanks this is my cat collar, I was looking for it-" He smiled
"I'm Denis by the way" he shook his hand
"I'm Flamingo!" He smiled
Denis looked at him confused and felt deja vu
"Do I know you by any chance?"
"Nope!" He shook his head
They both watched the sunset together,
They felt something familiar and happy.
Flamingo smile
He look at his watch and took it off stuffing it in his pocket

"This is home..."
