Everybody loves Millard. I honestly don't know a single person who doesn't. This guy has to be one of the coolest characters of this book series. He's super smart and deeply thoughtful. And when he's not doing research all the time, he's always in the mood for pulling pranks or messing with people.
About his personality, I think it's a nice blend of adorable cheekiness and admirable intelligence. I also like the fact that he's invisible. It ties in well with his cheekiness. He can also be very charming when he's not a nervous wreck around girls he likes. If he were a real person, I'd gladly be his friend.
I almost forgot: the movie. They did not write him well. There isn't any smart or funny Millard, it's just a little invisible kid who just happens to be a part of the movie because the alternative is worse.
Nonetheless: 1000/10 for sure; love the guy a lot ^_^
