Not many people may like him, especially if they only read the first book, but I find his sarcastic demeanor relatable. It also makes him a good comic relief character, and we all like well-written comic reliefs every once and awhile. Just look at Merry and Pippin from Lord of the Rings. Or Eddie Dean from The Dark Tower.
Admittedly, his attitude doesn't exactly come off as charming. Though it does grow on you. Whenever he isn't a douchebag, he can be especially adorable.
Just look at him. Don't you wanna hug him and ruffle his hair? ^^
And I really liked how Riggs developed Enoch near the end of the series. He went from being an asshole to a playful little child. My favorite part of the last book is where Enoch got bored and decided to hang out with Jacob alone. It was almost like he looked up to Jacob as a big brother. And another memorable part from the fifth book was when Enoch tried cheering up Hugh by trolling people on the bus with him.

Yeah, we're gonna need to talk. I don't mind this too much at least, especially since I'm used to movies completely butchering the appearances of book characters anyway. And Finlay (and Asa) is cool too. What I would've liked to see from the movie is Enoch being funny: making a few sarcastic jokes now and then. But he's just an asshole and an idiot, with his insults ringing hollow and cliche. Basically: Draco Malfoy.
Considering that I'm going to complain a lot about most of the characters in the movie being flat, it'd be pretty redundant writing a whole paragraph taking jabs at them, so from now on I'm just going to write little comments. And I will make a book score and movie score.
