Since the talk a few days ago, both men have been on high alert. Jax nearly lost his mind when Alison got a paper cut. It was sweet in its own way.

The boys kept busy so usually Alison spent her time with the kids or even Gemma, they would go shopping or just out to lunch. Jason or Half sacc wouldn't be too far behind, always keeping an eye on them.

Sometimes Jason would just hang around with Alison and the kids, he enjoyed being an uncle and he enjoyed seeing his sister be a mother. Since he transferred over they didn't get much bonding time, they knew it was going to happen.  But at least they weren't states away now, only a text away.

Today, however, Alison couldn't have predicted what was going to happen. It started out a normal day. She made breakfast for the kids and Jax before he left for the clubhouse. She spent time getting the kids ready for the day and even took time to do more than brush Berkley's hair.

Alison and Gemma took the kids for a ride, they laughed and sang along to the songs. Gemma bought the kids ice cream for lunch. They went to the park and finally stopped at a grocery store to get dinner.

Jason took the kids back home, wanting to get some quality time with them while he could. Alison dragged Gemma with her to one final store. Alison didn't tell anyone else where they going. it was supposed to be a surprise for Jax.

But Gemma saw someone. Her heart started racing and she thought she was going to throw up. when Alison came out of the store Gemma took off in the car. Alison called after her, asking what was wrong.

"Call your brother, there's something I have to do." Then Gemma took off, tailing the van in front of her.

Alison huffed, stuffing the small box inside her jacket. She called her brother and he said that Sacc would be there soon.

Alison was always the type to worry, especially now. She sat on a nearby bench, waiting for her ride. She eyed every person that walked by. Gemma could be doing god knows what by now.

She sat there for about ten minutes before Sacc pulled up, a derpy smile on his face to hide the worry he had for whoever Gemma was after.

"I guess I should've called you huh?" She asked, climbing on the back of his bike.

"I was helping Berkley set up the dollhouse Jason bought her, I don't mind it."

Alison smiled at the thought of Sacc helping her daughter set up a dollhouse, she only hoped it didn't cost too much.

Gemma sat on the couch after she finished what she had done. Part of her felt finally free. She had gotten her revenge. She let a small smile creep up on her lips as she looked at the dead blonde. The bitch had it coming. Did she wish she had done it differently? Yes. This was going to cause backlash for the club but in this moment as her gun cooled, she didn't give a single fuck. Gemma would deal with the aftermath and everything would be fine.

Fine, it was not. Half Sacc got called so he had to leave. Alison didn't question it. Jason followed after his sister into the kitchen. He placed Abel in the carrier that was on the counter. Alison was putting away the groceries they got for dinner. Berkley was safe and sound playing with her new dolls.

"Please tell me it was on sale," Alison asked, Jason was tickling Abel's feet.

"I paid full price, only the best for my favorite kids!" he smiled and looked over at his sister.

She didn't have an amused look on her face. A hand on her hip and a motherly scowl on her face. Jason just shrugged and went to grab a beer out of the fridge.

"Should I tell Jax his mom went crazy?" She asked, reaching for the house phone that was on the table.

"It would probably be smart, " She agreed and picked up the phone.

"hey baby," Jax said. He and some of the guys were waiting for this dick to come out of the ice cream shop.

"So your mother went a little nuts earlier. Everyone is okay but I'm worried about her."

"What happened?"

"We were at the store and then she saw someone and just took off. Sacc came and picked me up and Jason stayed with the kids."

"Did she say anything?"

"No, she just left."

Alsion had watched the angry man force his way into the house. Her blood ran cold and the only thought she had was to keep her kids safe.

Jax got worried, he could sense something was wrong. She didn't answer when he called her name. The man pulled out a gun and pointed it at them. He told her to drop the phone and she did.

Jax was confused but also worried. He knew the other voice on the line. A bad feeling in his stomach took over and he said he was leaving, that something was wrong.

Jason had stood in front of his sister, shielding her body with his.

Alison couldn't hear a word they were saying. She was scared and frozen. She only seemed to snap back as the man stepped closer to Abel.

"Don't touch him," She said, her voice was full of venom and she honestly scared herself.

"I swear to fucking god," Jason had said, stepping closer.

Berkley had come running in, she didn't know what was wrong but she wanted to talk about her new doll house and how the toilet made noises.

The man grabbed her, bending over slightly to point the gun at her.

Berkley screamed, she struggled against the man's arm and cried out.

"Let my daughter go,"

"Who to pick," The man said.

Alison finally realized who it was. He was the Irish guy that got shot in the ass. Juice kept his finger in the guy's cheek for hours and it was honestly funny.

Why was he here? Attacking their family?

Jason had stepped closer, he got the guy to drop the gun and release his hold on Berkley. The girl ran to Alison's arms while the two men fought.

The man grabbed a knife and stabbed Jason, causing him to fumble back and to the ground.

"I think a son for a son is only fair."

Alison didn't move, holding tightly onto Berkley and reaching a hand out to make sure Jason was okay.

The gun was close, if she moved fast enough she could get to it. But what if he hurt Abel? She wouldn't be able to live with herself.

His back was turned, and he was crying about his son to Abel who also screamed.

She decided she had to do something.

She moved Berkley to her side, moving quietly enough she hoped he wouldn't notice. She kneeled by her brother's side, leaning over his body to grab the gun.

Once it was in her hand she stood, cocking it and aiming for his head.

"Drop the knife or I will blow your brains out dude," Her hands didn't shake but her voice did.

He looked at her, almost laughing at the fact she thought she could stop him.

"I mean it!" She stepped closer and shook the gun for emphasis. She needed this man to know she wasn't fucking around. She wanted him to feel even the slightest bit of fear.

But he didn't, he didn't show any signs of backing or being afraid. She fired the gun as he approached, it grazed his leg and found a new home on the kitchen floor. He had overpowered her, managing to get her to drop the gun.

She fought like hell, if he was going to take Abel then he had to fight with his life to do so.

Berkley held onto Jason, he was awake and he tried to soothe her. He knew he would be fine, on bedrest for a while but fine at the end of the day. He wished he was the one fighting, not his sister.

The man had won, clocking her over the head before he took Abel. He glanced around the kitchen and left in a hurry. He knew Jax would be here soon if he was the one on the phone.
