The window rolled down.
"Oh, for fucks sake." I groaned. Max smirked at me, his sunglasses sliding down a little.
"Need a ride?" He asked, pushing his glasses back up with his middle finger. I clenched my jaw.
"Not from you." I snapped.
"I mean, if you and your stubborn ass want to walk all the way back to the hotel..." He trailed of with a shrug. I scowled at him.
"My ass is none of your concern, sir." I snapped at him. He raised an eyebrow.
"Well, I'm glad we've got that cleared up. I completly agree." He tilted his head a little to the side, his eyes flickering down my body.
"Hey! Don't look at it! That is a privilege few are granted." I turned to face him fully. His eyes moved back up to mine, amused. "Never do that again."
"I will try to restrain myself." He nodded.
"What a gentleman." I said in a mocking tone, but he just agreed. Infuriatingly.
"First and foremost. Always. But back to what I was going to say, if you and your off limits, stubborn ass want to walk then knock yourself out. It's not like I care." He shrugged. I bit my tongue. The window began to roll up.
I hate everything about this. Especially him.
UGH.
"Wait." I growled. He rolled the window back down, his eyebrows raised.
"Mhm..?" He waited.
"Can... I... have a ride?" I forced myself to say it. He smiled as if he were having the time of his life.
"I think you're missing something." He put a hand to his ear. I wanted to punch him so bad. I clenched my fist, imagining what it would feel like if it met the side of his face.
"Please." I muttered between gritted teeth.
"Louder, darling."
"Please!" I snapped. He smirked.
"I love everything about this." He gave his head a small nod, gesturing for me to get in. I wobbled around the front of his car and got into the passenger seat. I closed the door, harder than I needed to, and he drove.
"Not a word." My voice was low, as I clicked my belt in.
"Aren't you just a glowing ball of sunshine this fine morning.' He commented, blatantly ignoring my warning.
"That was eleven words." I scowled at him. "You ass."
"That was six words." He informed me helpfully. "I can count too."
"Congratulations, do you want a gold star?"
"I would actually."
I rolled my eyes, looked out the window, and tried to focus on something else. Anything other than him, and his stupidly good looking shirt. His eyes would glance at me every now and again, but I ignored him.
"So... same dress as last night, coming out from a random apartment..." He began. "Is it safe to say this is a walk of shame?"
"You've been following me since then?" I turned to face him. He shrugged. "Why didn't you help me earlier?" I demanded.
"I wanted to see how it played out." He glanced at me with a smirk. I muttered something under my breath.
"I hope you crash." I shot a glance at him.
