"Okay, these are the last of them." Daniel groaned, putting down the last box.
I looked over at him from where I was already unpacking some things in the kitchen. Now that I had an even closer look at everything, I was even more excited. It was perfect.
"Finally!" Lando put down his own box with a sigh, flopping down onto the couch. I had asked them to help me with the move, and it had taken a little longer than I had expected.
"Hey, I helped you move." I crossed my arms. He pursed his lips.
"Yeah, all right..." He rolled his eyes.
"Aw man, I'm the last one?" Charles came in, carrying the last two boxes.
"Yeah, slow poke." Daniel laughed. Charles shot him a playful glare, and he set down the boxes.
"Seriously though, thank you guys. I would have never been able to do it without you." I walked over and sat on the armrest of the couch.
"Aww, you're making me blush." Lando joked. I smiled.
"You are welcome, m'lady." Daniel said it exaggeratedly, taking my hand and kissing it delicately. I laughed.
"Weirdo." I snorted, and he grinned. "Anyway, are you guys hungry?" I asked. Lando sat up abruptly at the mention of food.
"Always." He sighed.
"Okay. I'll order something." I laughed at him and got up.
Our food arrived twenty minutes later. Lando practically leaped up to open the door. I almost choked on my water. Daniel snorted with laughter at my red face, and Charles laughed at Daniel's snort.
"Shut up. Food's here." Lando almost skipped back to us. Since there still weren't chairs for the table, we all just sat down on the floor of the apartment and waited for Lando to distribute our food.
"Pasta?" He asked, and Charles raised his hand. Lando slid it over to him.
"Spring rolls are mine... noodles?" He looked up again. I waved. He slid it over, and I opened it hungrily. God, it smelled so good.
"Ew, sushi. Really Daniel?" Lando's nose wrinkled. Daniel laughed and took it from him.
"It's so good! Plus, I get a free Lando repeller." He grinned, opening his container and snapping his chopsticks.
"You guys are all wrong. Pasta is the best." Charles shook his head, getting a fork and taking a bite.
"Absolutely not. Spring rolls are the way to go." Lando shook his head, taking the lids off his dips.
"What do you think, Sabri?" Daniel turned to me. They all looked at me. I stared at them, my mouth filled with noodles. They all burst out laughing. I almost choked again.
"Stop! You almost made noodles come out of my nose!" I exclaimed, holding a napkin to my face. But this only made them laugh louder.

"IT'S LIGHTS OUT, AND AWAY WE GO!"
I slammed my foot down on the accelerator and lurched forward. After another pep talk from Danny, I had refund my confidence. Into turn one, I braked late, almost coming alongside Max. He pulled ahead again.
