Chapter 3

First Meet

We were riding our horses to go to an old castle somewhere within wall rose where Levi and his Squad are supposed to be looking after Eren which was instructed by Erwin. The whole trip was quiet while I steal glances at him.

The first time I met Levi was when Erwin recruited him to join the Regiment at first I was actually mad at him and irritated at Erwin for recruiting someone from the underground which is a crime ridden city.

Erwin had the idea to suddenly recruit him which he believes he has the potential to be one of the strongest soldiers.

"What the heck Erwin? Recruiting someone who has no proper training and let alone someone who is from the underground!" I spat at him irritated at that thought

Him and his squad just came back from the underground which he made a deal with Levi joining the Scout Regiment along with his two friends.

"Calm down Brea, you and I have nothing to worry about, besides if he ever tried to do something against the Regiment I know you're the first one to go after him" He said calmly

I rolled my eyes at him and walked out from the room. I suddenly bumped into someone, well not just someone it's one of those whom they brought from the underground. I believe her name is Isabel

"O-oh! I'm so sorry! I was looking for the bathroom" she said nervously

I looked at her blankly. She's younger compared to Levi and his other friend Furlan

"The bathroom is over there" I said still looking at her

"Thank you! I was lost looking for the bathroom..." she said and immediately turned around and walked away

She was not looking for the bathroom, she was definitely eavesdropping to our conversation. It didn't bother me that much that she was eavesdropping but a question pop up, why is she eavesdropping?

The next day Erwin and the others were out while I stayed in my room reading, I had the urge to go to Erwin's office and get more books to read. He didn't mind me going into his office without his permission, besides he's practically my older brother.

As I walked through the hallway I heard someone was in Erwin's office, I have highly good senses which is why I can tell from a far that someone is in the office. I quietly walked as I am nearing the office, when suddenly someone spoke from behind

"What are you doing?" I heard a man's voice asked

I looked over my shoulders and saw him. Levi looking at me blankly. I stood up straight and faced him. He's short. I shamelessly look at him from head to toe. I don't understand what the potential Erwin was talking about this man is Short well not that I'm so much taller than him I'm only 5'4.

"Why do you care?" I said, he only looked at me and left

What the heck was that!? What's with him? And why didn't I sensed him from behind? Who the heck does he think he is asking me so casually what I'm doing? With irritation flow through me, I decided to head back to my room I didn't even saw who was at Erwin's office at that time because of my irritation.

The next day we are gathered outside for the next Expedition of the Survey Corps. Through the crowd I then accidentally looked at Levi, him already looking at me I rolled my eyes at him and just look in front of me where the commander is stating that this will be our 23rd Expedition which means this will be Levi and his friend's first Expedition

"We are now commencing the 23rd Expedition of The Scout Regiment!" said by Keith Shadis the 12th commander of the Survey Corps
