Chapter 7

Squad Levi

"Goodmorning Section Commander!" Eld said

"Goodmorning, Eld. Please just call me Brea" I greeted him

He smiled at me shyly and nod. I saw Petra in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the squad

"Can I help?" I said smiling

"Oh! Brea! If it's okay with you then of course you can help!" She replied happily

I saw her almost done with the preparations so I asked her what is left to do.

"You can prepare the tea for Captain Levi. But I doubt he'll drink it, he has a special way of making his tea" Petra said a bit shy

She knows a lot about Levi huh? Of course she knows a lot about her Captain! I said to myself. Why am I feeling weird about it. It's normal for her to know what her Captain likes.

I tried making tea for Levi and if he won't drink it, then I will! It's the thoughts that counts! Wait... why do I even care about whether or not he'll drink it?

It turns out that I made tea for everyone to push away my thoughts about him that morning.

Petra and I placed the food on the table, I also placed the tea I made for everyone. Squad Levi then entered the room with Eren and behind them is Levi with his usual expression. He sat in my right and I saw how he had a questioning look on his face when he saw the tea I made.

"I don't know how you make your tea but.." I was cut off guard when he actually drank the tea I made!

I smiled unconsciously at the thought that he did drink it.

"Why are you smiling?" Levi asked looking at me

"Huh? It's nothing! Just eat!" I said defensively as if he knew the reason why I smiled

I don't know if I'm seeing things but he smiled a bit at my reaction. Levi isn't the type of guy that shows emotions so maybe I am seeing things.

I asked Eren if we can go outside to test his Titan abilities again to know if he can control it. As we go out we saw his friends arriving

"Mikasa! Armin!" Eren said happily

"Where's that short guy? He went too far when you were at court!" She said coldly with a hint of anger

"You mean Captain Levi? I told you it's okay" Eren tried to calm her down

I chuckled how she describes Levi as the short guy. They looked at me when they noticed that I was chuckling at Mikasa's choice of words

"Oh right this is Section Commander Brea!" Eren introduced me to his friends

Eren then asked me if he could hangout with his friends I said yes and that he doesn't need to worry about Levi.

"Where's Eren?" Levi asked when I got inside the Castle

"With his friends outside, Oluo and Petra are outside too you don't need to worry about them" I said

"Thank you for the tea" Levi said quietly

I was shocked when he thanked me. This is a new side of him or maybe not? Maybe he has always been appreciative like thanking Petra for every meal she prepared for the squad. My mood quickly changed. Levi noticed that so I quickly teased him by saying

"I guess I make better tea than you, for you to be thanking me" I proudly said clearly teasing him

"No, my tea is still better" He replied

Well that backfired real quick. What can I say he's like that. He always know how to get back at me like it was natural for him.

Later that day Hange-san arrived at the Castle saying that Erwin gave him the permission to examine Eren's Titan powers.

I decided to stay up all night to read books that are related to the serum we tried to get when Me and Levi worked on it together. It turns out the serum was not giving Titan strength to it's host. The serum that they sell is a trial serum. Their goal was to achieve the serum that what once a genius doctor had developed. I told Erwin to give me those informations and to not let anyone know about it because it also consist a goal to start superhuman army like how the Ackerman Clan started.

I don't remember who my mother was or who my father is. I have vivid memories about them when I was a kid. Mr. Smith found me outside the school where he was teaching. He said that he always saw me peaking through the window  in his class. He decided to took me in when he found out that I don't have parents.

I began to feel sleepy while reading and thinking of many possible ways as to where I came from.
