Chapter 33 [Final | Part 2]

[Noah's POV]

After quite some time, Cody stands up, reaching out his hand, to help me up, and says-

C: I'm ready now. Thank you...!

He gives me a soft smile, and I grab his hand, get up, and give him a hug. He hugs me back, and after a bit, we let go.

N: Show the way!

We both chuckle, he grabs my hand, and starts leading me away, to, I'm guessing, his parents house.

N: Gonna meet your parents as a human?

I ask jokingly, and he looks down at himself.

C: Forgot about that-

We both laugh, and he transforms back into his alien form. I really don't see it often, only just when we wake up, but obviously he transforms back, before we head down for breakfast! But I really do like his Alien form too! It's really cute~ Either of his forms are just really cute~ He's very pretty, fun, cute, just overall so sweet and amazing! I truly do love him~

We walk for a bit, till we get to a path, follow the path, till we hit a town, and Cody leads me over to a specific house.

N: Is this your house?

He nods at me, with a nervous expression on his face. He turns his head, looks at the door, and then knocks. Just basically a second after, he shocked looks over at me, grabs my hand again, and quickly runs, dragging me off to the side of the house.

N: What's wrong??

C: They can't see you! I've been gone for a week! I gotta be sure, that they are okay calm, before they know anything about me going to earth! And ESPECIALLY bringing a human here!!

N: Okay okay, I get it! But what do we do?

C: We'll sneak into my room, through my window! Then I can go out and talk to them, while you hide in my room!

N: How do we get in though? Haven't your parents probably closed the window or something?

C: I have a secret way of opening my window, from the outside~

He says grinning, looking really proud of himself. I'm not complaining though, it works perfectly for us, that he has a way in.

We make our way, over to the window, to Cody's room. Luckily his door is closed, so they won't walk past his room, and randomly see us sneaking in- That REALLY wouldn't be good-!

Cody get's the window open somehow. No idea how though, even though, I basically was watching him do it- Either way- We get in, he tells me to hide under the covers, in his bed, and so I do. He walks out, after tucking the blanket in, so I'm not visible, and closes the door, behind himself. I lay there for a bit, before I think of something.

I gotta do something to help too! Maybe not with his parents right now- But maybe if I go and ask around, some others will know something, that could be useful! Who even know's if Cody's parents knows anything useful, about earth, and the portal! I mean, they have to know what a human is, because Cody knew- But that doesn't mean they know about the portal! Or just any useful information in general-!

I swing the blanket off of me, and get up off the bed. I pick the blanket up off of the floor, and put it down gently and nicely, on the bed, before I walk over to the window, prying it open. I open the window halfway, and climb out.

Should I close it behind me...? I mean, probably not- But I wouldn't want someone to break in or something- Do aliens do that-?? I ponder for quite a bit, before I decide to leave it just a bit open, so you can barely tell, that it's open, but I can still get back in!

I head off, walking towards, what looks to be the center of the town, since more people are there. Hopefully I can find someone, with some useful knowledge.

I look around at people, trying to see, who would be okay to ask questions. Most people were with others, or on their way to do something, so I didn't wanna bother them-

Suddenly three young boys run over to me, and one grabs my arm. I look down at them, and they look up at me, with excitement on their faces.

Kid 1 (A/N: The one grabbing his arm): Hey sir! Why are you walking around like that??

N: Like what..?

Kid 2: Looking like a human!

N: Oh-! Well I- I just learned how to transform, and I haven't fully figured out how to transform back- Mhm-!

I just came up with that on the spot- I totally forgot that I AM A HUMAN, AND I LOOK LIKE ONE-! Probably should have thought of that, before I headed out by myself- But it's not important, since they seemed to buy it-!

N: But can I ask you all something?

Kid 1+2+3: Mhm!

They all nod their heads in excitement, smiling widely.

N: Do you know a lot about humans?

Kid 3: Yes! We learned all about them in school!

Kid 1: Yeah! But an old lady also told us a story about a human, that came here!

Kid 2: That story was pretty sad though...

Kid 3: Yeah... The human didn't survive...

My eyes widen, and I look at them in total shock and terror. Was I gonna die too?!?! I gotta ask them about the story-

N: Could you tell me the story, that she told you guys?

They all look excitedly at each other, and then back at me, with a big grin, as they all nod.
