Blue was the last color I saw
Before I left Earth
Indigo, a memory so pure
A memoir to you

In the mirk of the night,
Came your constellation
Orbiting my lonely star
The weak glow, buzzing faintly
Searching for signal from afar.

Memories from a passed life
As you were laying there
Unwell, merely floating

Nor here, nor there
Travelling through empty space
You simply were

You took my hand,
"Your fingers're cold,"
You embraced them with yours,
It was like a winter's snow
Beneath summer's sun
Smelting into a faintly deceiving warmth

Things were fine
For a little while
There was this fondness in your eyes
I did not dare to cry

My heart was bleeding
But so was yours
We were Always
but Never expecting
The Sweet Release

of Yours

I wish you Goodnight
My courageous knight
I'll love you with ease
Now th'I know you're at peace
