Jeremy's Shadow's POV

I watched as Mike went out cold, hopefully I hadn't hurt him that much. He'll most likly be confused when he wakes up anyway. I felt Jeremy shift, trying to wake up I see, lucky for me he was in an endless darkness right now. No waking up yet Jeremy, you haven't decided on a name for me yet.

I set down the pan as I began to walk away. I paused before exiting the door and glanced back at the body on the floor. "See you around Mikey~" Smiling once again I dashed out into the cold moonlit air. Good thing I was already writing out a plan in my head.

As I rounded the street corner I saw the house I was looking for. Picking up my pace, I hurried towards my destination while carrying two very important items. I smiled down at the red jug I was holding onto, this was going to be fun.

When I reached the house I quietly opened the front door that unlocked like usual. This was almost too easy. As I entered I heard a familiar drunken Father snore. I froze realizing who was near me, I was physically afraid of that man. But it's not only me that's trembling, I can feel Jeremy's terror rising rapidly. No. I need to get this done, I'll start with the house first though.

I strolled through the house pouring liquid all over the place, soon enough the rooms were all covered in it. Eventually I made my way back to Jeremy's Father, careful not to get any of the substance on myself. Well here goes nothing. I dumped the rest of the the remaining liquid onto him making a huge splashing noise.

The man sat up almost immediately, glaring straight at me with anger flaring in his eyes. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?!" He got up faster than I could comprehend and slapped me. I stumbled back dropping the jug, I didn't really need it anymore but it could have helped out a bit. Once I regained my balance I reached into my pants pocket for the other item I had gotten, a lighter. I flicked it open and got the flame to light itself and grinned as I threw it at Jeremy's Father. As soon as it touched him he burst into flames. He screamed in pain, falling to the ground. The best medicine for a horrid person: Gasoline.

I couldn't help but scream at him happily with revenge, "BURN IN HELL YOU FUCKER!"

Eventually he laid stiffly on his side, well now he won't be a problem anymore. My eyes widened when I felt Jeremy begin to wake up, he had finally decided on a name... at the worst moment possible. The house was set aflame with smoke filling the room and I couldn't move due to Jeremy gaining consciousness. No, no,no, no, NO! I need to leave right now!

I let out a sigh of defeat, he would have to figure this out. I heard a name echo through my head, "Oz," Nice choice Jeremy, nice choice. The sent of smoke hit me.

Mike's POV

Ow... how long have I been out? Wait... Jeremy! I quickly sat up once I remembered what had happened not to long ago.

I jumped when I heard a familiar voice echo in my head, "He caught it... he caught it!" Oh, Blake. "You were a fool to show your true feelings for him." A small snicker was followed after he said that.

I felt a bit anger burn through my mind, not at Blake but a myself, "I forgot to tell him about the disease... I'm such an idiot." I ran a hand over my face in frustration.

Blake's presence appeared beside me and I turned my head to see the damned shadow version of myself smiling, "You're not an idiot, just a bit forgetful," He suddenly frowned, "You may want to hurry up and help Jeremy and Oz, they're in a bit of trouble."

"...Oz?"

"His shadow," Blake confirmed.

I got to my feet getting ready to go to find Jeremy or his shadow, whoever's in control. "Ok, thanks for letting me know. You can go now Blake, I don't need anymore help today."

Blake rolled his blue eyes, "Fine," He then faded away.

As I went outside I looked in all directions till I saw a huge cloud of smoke in the night sky in the distance. Below the smoke there was a faint glow of what I assumed was fire, well that's somewhere to start. Once I got into my car I noticed that the glow had seemed to get brighter. My eyes widened at the sight, I need to get there. NOW. I drove off, not caring to look at the speed I was going.

When I reached the house I soon realized that it was Jeremy's Dads place. Oh no... what if Jeremy is still in there? Suddenly I heard some loud coughs coming from inside the house. Ok this probably isn't smart at all but I really have no choice at the moment. I ran up to the front door and kicked it down then jumped over some flames that were about to get my feet.

Turning into the living room of the house I smiled with relief, "Jeremy!" As I approached him I grabbed his shoulder trying to get his attention. He didn't even seem to notice me so I turned him around and looked him in the eye. He had a blank expression, seemingly he wasn't really there. He'll be back to normal once I get him out of here, I'm sure of it. Good thing his eyes were back to their original green. Picking him up bridal style I got out of the house as fast as possible and laid him in the grass once we were a shaft distance from the house. It didn't appear like he had any burns so that's good.

A small laugh came from Jeremy, "I killed him, I finally did!" A fit of insane laughter erupted from him and he clutched his head, no this wasn't the disease. It was Jeremy mentally cracking.

I grabbed his shoulders giving him a shake, "Snap out of it!"

He looked up at me still laughing, "NO... no. You don't understand! You should have let me burn with all those other precious memories in that house!" Tears had begun to pour down his cheeks while his laughter continued.

Gritting my teeth, I did something that I really didn't want to do.

I slapped him.
